Building an app is faster than ever, in-house, with a freelancer, or with AI tools. Making it reliable, secure, scalable and compliant is still engineering work, and that is where NextGen comes in. We are a 9-person backend and DevOps team led by an engineer with 12+ years of experience.

What we do

• Production-readiness audits of code, data layer and deployment (fixed price, one week)
• Rescue and hardening of existing or AI-generated codebases: reliability, performance, security, tests, CI/CD
• AWS architecture and DevOps: Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, monitoring, zero-downtime database upgrades
• Security and compliance: SOC 2 readiness, Drata/Vanta remediation, IAM least privilege, HIPAA-aligned infrastructure
• Backend and web platforms: Node.js, NestJS, Next.js, Laravel/PHP, PostgreSQL, MySQL
• Mobile: Flutter, native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin)

Where we have delivered

• US healthcare platform (ongoing): features and infrastructure for each new facility rollout; every Drata finding resolved for SOC 2 certification; production MySQL upgraded to 8.4 LTS with Blue/Green and a rehearsed rollback
• Spain/Sweden home-services marketplace: architected end to end (NestJS backend, PostgreSQL schema, 3 web portals, 2 Flutter apps, Stripe Connect with EU KYC), deployed and secured on AWS

How we work

We use AI tools to move fast; every production change still ships with a written runbook, a rollback plan and tests, and a senior engineer owns the result. Daily async updates, 3-4 hours of overlap with US Eastern and CET, NDAs on request.
