&Pixels started the way most good things do: out of necessity and a little bit of stubbornness.

Jacob McDaniel launched the agency in 2010 while still holding down a day job, because the work he was doing on the side was better than what most agencies were charging a fortune for. One client became two, two became ten, and at some point it stopped making sense to keep pretending it was a side project.

Over 15 years later, &Pixels is a certified veteran-owned design and development agency headquartered in Austin, TX, with hundreds of projects delivered and a team built around one idea: that great design and powerful technology shouldn't require a Fortune 500 budget to access.

We're still stubborn about quality. That part hasn't changed.
