Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the organization.
Pronto Marketing focuses on building, supporting, and promoting WordPress websites for small and medium-sized businesses around the world. As the Managing Director, I oversee the successful implementation of all our services and ensure that our clients are working towards the outcomes they want to achieve.
What is the story behind starting this company?
Pronto Marketing was founded in 2008 by father and son team, Derek and Cory Brown. Prior to founding Pronto, Derek worked as a marketing director at Microsoft where he noticed many IT firms and MSPs were struggling to maintain a strong web presence for their businesses. He then enlisted the help of his son to start building and maintaining WordPress websites for these IT firms. Since then, we have expanded to all kinds of industries and to various marketing services to help our clients grow.
What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
All of our work is done in-house. We currently have over 90 employees in a wide variety of roles including, project managers, designers, copywriters, developers, marketers, and more.
How does your company differentiate itself from the competition?
We provide a one-stop shop for all your needs by building, supporting, and promoting your website. Many other agencies only offer services in one of these areas which then means you have to coordinate with multiple vendors in order to have a successful online presence. At Pronto, you have just one place you need to turn to whenever you require assistance with any aspect of your website.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?
Since we were founded with a focus on the IT industry, IT firms and MSPs are still areas in that we have significant expertise. We also have a lot of experience handling websites for lawyers, financial services businesses, and many other professional B2B services companies.

Nearly all of our clients pay monthly service fees so they continue to come to us for assistance with their web presence month after month.
Please share some of the services that you offer for which clients approach you the most for?
Our most popular service is Website Support. In this service, our clients pay a low monthly fee for unlimited support for their WordPress website. This includes hosting, backend maintenance, and unlimited copywriting, design, and development, so whenever our clients need something, all they have to do is shoot us an email and we’ll take care of it.
What is your customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
We have very high satisfaction rates amongst our customers. Our Net Promoter Score is 56.2 and 99.2% of support requests are rated as “Good” or higher.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
Customers on our Technical Support and Website Support plans receive 24/7 support. We provide this primarily through email and chat, but we also offer the occasional phone call when necessary.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
Our support services are billed at a low monthly fee. We have no long-term contracts and customers can cancel at any time. For website build projects, we have options to pay 50% upfront with the remaining 50% when the project is completed or to pay for the project over 12 monthly installments.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
Our support services start as low as $99/month. For larger projects (e.g., building a new website), we charge as little as $3,000 for small, simple websites, and over $10,000 for large sites with complex features such as eCommerce solutions.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2021?
Depending on which services the clients need, our prices can vary widely. As I mentioned above, we can provide backend WordPress maintenance for as little as $99/month, and our larger website builds can go for over $10,000.
Where do you see your company in the next 10 years?
Pronto is first and foremost a customer service company. So, no matter what changes occur in the website development and digital marketing space over the next 10 years, our primary goal will continue to be to provide world-class customer support across a variety of convenient, dependable, and affordable services.
