Kindly share your feedback on how GoodFirms has been doing so far in increasing your visibility among potential clients.
At QTeam Solutions, we work with a wide array of clients from different countries and one of the ways in which we showcase our work and get noticed by potential clients is through platforms such as GoodFirms. Getting in front of the right clients is critical for business success and that is why GoodFirms is one of the main channels we use to promote our services and get new customers.
Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the organization.
Our team builds, delivers, upgrades, and maintains complex digital solutions in various industries like e-learning, digital marketing, digital communities, pharma, finance, and more. We use a wide array of technologies including Machine Learning and AI.
I am a Co-founder of the company together with my colleague and friend Cristina Ciocoiu.
What is the story behind starting this company?
Both Cristina and I have been working in the IT&C industry for more than 10 years. My main area of expertise is in software testing and Cristina’s experience is HR related with a focus on building software development teams. We learned a lot during those years and 5 years ago we decided to start our own company as a way of bringing our own philosophy to software development projects.
What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
Our model is based on an in-house team. That way we can make sure we provide top-quality software solutions for our clients.
How does your company differentiate itself from the competition?
By keeping our start-up mentality and hiring great people. We approach every project not just by offering software development services but also functioning as consultants for our clients.
It’s important that we understand our customers and what they want and need. It might take a bit more time at the beginning of the project but it pays off in the end as most of our clients either come back with further projects or increase the scope of the project after the initial stages.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?
Up until now, we’ve worked with clients from the e-learning, digital marketing, digital communities, pharma, and finance industries. Yet we are always looking to expand our expertise in other fields. With regard to repetitive clients, around 80% of the companies we worked with have requested our services again.
Please share some of the services that you offer for which clients approach you the most for?
The main service would be custom software development. A close second would be software testing.
What is your customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
With around 80% of our customers still working with us and a lot of the new ones have reached us through recommendations from the current ones we believe we’re doing pretty well.
Again, we focus on two main things to maintain customer satisfaction. The quality of our projects which we keep by hiring great people and the fact that we have a consultancy approach and maintain a close relationship with our clients.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
We use tools such as Slack, Atlassian, and Harvest, as the basis of the overall project execution so that our clients know exactly what we’re working on and what the progress of the project is.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
Our working model is based on a flexible engagement framework (Fixed/Hourly) and a centralized DEV and QA team, whose members have more than 12 years of experience in software development.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
Our minimum budget is 10000$.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2020?
Between 10.000 and 200.000 dollars.
Where do you see your company in the next 10 years?
Still keeping its start-up spirit first of all. And having QTeam is the first word that pops into your mind when you’re thinking of starting a custom software development project.
