At SmartWeb Worldwide we provide full-cycle Digital Marketing services for global enterprises and U.S. startups. Our headquarter is in Moscow where we concentrate our main staff for global customers. I am the founder of this company and my current job role as Chief Executive Officer; in particular, my responsibilities lie in corporate marketing strategy development and implementation in the U.S. and EU markets and cross-functional team management.
What is the story behind starting this company?
I started this company from scratch on the local market. After a while, the company continued to grow, and my journey, as a business entrepreneur, extended to the global markets, particularly in the US. However, since I belong to an IT background, I managed to build a small high-performance team consists of various experts in Digital Marketing and Web Development.
What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We have an in-house team a minimum of 20 high-skilled professionals, who are taking care of the project development, marketing indicators, and timely delivery. We value customer time and adhere to the approach to optimize development milestones and marketing costs.
How does your company differentiate itself from the competition?
If we are talking about creating an MVP for startups, then the main difference is in speeding up processes due to a high-performing team with each iteration, keeping control over the budget. For corporate websites, we adhere to strict quality standards for code and page load speed, while not forgetting the quality of design and UX. In marketing, the main difference is the lean approach, using as many effective tools as possible.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?
Now we’re focused on full-fledged help for startups in EdTech, IoT, and e-Commerce on U.S. markets. Most part of our customers is Enterprises in various industries from Healthcare/Fitness and e-Commerce to FinTech and GasOil. Regardless of the industry, we dive deeply into the client's business to empower the marketing component.

Please share some of the services that you offer for which clients approach you the most for?
While we are one of the best at Web Application Development, Strategic planning, PPC and Social Media Ads, SEO& SERM, WordPress custom development, we’re also good in CRM & external API integrations.
What is your customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
As of the last month, the customer satisfaction rate is 100%. We entrust our clients with an all-around support instead of just helping them to cater to their requirements.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
For global customers, we use well-known CRM and reputed bug-tracking system also keeping in touch via email. All queries are processed quickly with the involvement of our competent specialists.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
It depends on the project and type of delivery. For MVPs and Digital Marketing, we keep the Pay per Milestone model, usually in phase or in a month, while the most of other projects are carried out by Fixed Cost.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
Usually, we take in projects which match our basic business, ethical and technical requirements. We start from the tasks of the project when calculating the cost estimate. Most budget frames lay between $1,000 and $50,000+, but again, it depends on specific tasks.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2020?
In 2020 we had $2,180 as a minimum and $52,300 as a maximum project estimate. For the Payment per Month model, the prices laid between $330 to $1,500.
Where do you see your company in the next 10 years?
I see it in the general headquarter in the U.S. and several offices over the globe. However, the core of our talents is still in Moscow, and we’re totally concentrated on global startups and SaaS production.

I reached out to SmartWeb for help renewing a web domain. I got in touch through the contact form on their website. Even though it was a relatively small job, they responded immediately to my request and worked with me to find a solution to my problem. They helped me troubleshoot my problem step by step and were extremely flexible in working with international clients given the current business environment. We had the problem resolved within an hour of chatting.
Communication was extremely prompt and professional. I had no problem conversing with their representative in English and they provided English translations of any Russian parts of documents and sites that were required. Pricing was extremely straightforward and fair. Big thanks to them and especially to Sal, who I very much enjoyed working with. I would highly recommend this firm.

Describe your project in brief
SmartWeb Worldwide helped me perform a one year renewal of my .ru web domain through the web registrar company reg.ru. The domain had expired and I needed help renewing it so that I could continue to manage it.
What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?
Extremely prompt service, responded to all queries almost immediately and were available over chat
Flexibility working with international clients and navigating the current business environment
Very straightforward and fair pricing, and were flexible to help out with a small job
What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?

Best web application for startup
