Excellent long-term collaboration

I've been working with Stoica for a good couple of years now. Their speed and quality level is unbeatable. We've been working together on a wide variety of projects - from complex digital products development to website design and delivery, campaign design and management, presentations design etc. Every time the results were beyond expectations and our clients were impressed. Working in the medical ecosystem, a highly complex and dynamic sector, it's not always easy to anticipate workloads and needs, but Stoica always proved to be flexible, adaptable and responding to our needs. It's always a pleasure to work with such a professional team that now feels as part of our team.

A reliable partner, always looking at the client's best interest

Stoica never ceases to amaze me, even after collaborating for almost a year. They are an awesome team, enthusiastic about marketing, growth-driven websites, and continuous improvement.
We have a great, reliable partner in them, constantly looking to do things even better and come up with creative solutions to achieve our goals. They’ve supported us in rebuilding our website to reflect our renewed visual identity and promise to our clients. And, now, after that is finalized, we are still collaborating on new and exciting projects. With their empathic approach, quick thinking, patience and flexibility, they feel like a friend, who always has our best interest in mind.

Please provide your feedback on how Goodfirms has contributed to increasing your visibility among potential clients.
Goodfirms has helped increase our visibility over the past few years. While we don't have a direct way to track it, being listed on platforms like Goodfirms helps our agency get noticed, especially when people are looking for recommendations from AI tools. One client even mentioned that ChatGPT suggested us among other top agencies in the CEE region when they asked for B2B marketing agency recommendations. It shows the impact these platforms have today.
Please introduce your company and describe your role within the organization.
I'm the CEO of STOICA.CO. We help B2B tech companies scale through strong brands, aligned teams, and efficient GTM strategies. We're part of the BBN, which is a global B2B agency with over 1500 specialists from 30 countries.

About myself, I'm an entrepreneur and marketing expert, passionate about design thinking and technology. I founded the agency to help tech companies use their online presence to accelerate growth. Beyond STOICA.CO, I've launched and grown several other businesses, gaining hands-on experience in bootstrapping, fundraising, and business development. From a marketing agency to a SaaS platform and a Web3 studio, each project has helped shape my expertise in building sustainable, value-driven businesses.
What inspired the founding of your company, and what is the story behind its inception?
My brother and I started this agency with a clear vision: to create a place where we, and others who share our passion, can consistently do good work for our clients. By fostering an environment of creativity, collaboration, and dedication, we can deliver excellent results that genuinely benefit those we serve while also supporting our personal growth.

Over time, our dedication to this vision resonated with other talented individuals, allowing us to expand the team to 12 people. Each new member brought unique skills and perspectives, enriching our collective capabilities and strengthening our ability to handle a broader range of challenges faced by our growing client base.
What are the core values and principles that drive your company's culture, and how do you ensure alignment with these values across your team?
The key value at STOICA.CO, one that encompasses all the others is:

Help before you sell. We follow a growth-driven design mindset, focusing on understanding who your customers are and how your marketing actions can best serve them in their buying journey.
Then, we have four others that guide how we recruit and retain team members.
  • Village vibes - We help each other, share the good and bad, and keep one another accountable for what we say we will do.
  • Ambitious - We know that time is limited, and we strive to make it count by working efficiently and improving daily.
  • Competent - There’s no such thing as an impossible project. If we don’t know how to solve a problem, we research solutions, improve our knowledge, or seek external help.
  • Get things done - Our clients count on us to solve their pressing needs, and we always find the best way to do so.
Can you highlight some of the key achievements or milestones your company has accomplished since its inception?
We've built an international client base from our core team in Romania, evolving from a design and development agency into strategic marketing partners who genuinely care about client business outcomes, and the results prove it.

Our approach has helped a healthcare company reach 4 million professionals, driven 10x growth in marketing qualified leads for an IT company targeting Nordic enterprise clients, generated 2 new deals worth €100K+ within three months for a societal impact NGO, achieved 6x conversion rate improvements for a tech company compared to their previous marketing activities, and delivered 15 sales-qualified leads monthly for an educational MBA provider.
These numbers come from diverse multi-channel strategies tailored to each client's specific context. This shift from service provider to strategic partner reflects a fundamental belief: our success is measured by whether your business actually grows, not just whether we delivered the project on time.
Could you explain your company's business model? Do you primarily operate with an in-house team or utilize third-party vendors/outsourcing?
We act as a strategic marketing partner for B2B tech companies, not a traditional agency. We keep a dedicated in-house team of designers, developers, creators, and strategists, while working with external specialists for specific types of execution work. This hybrid approach solves a major issue many agencies face: giving you direct access to senior strategists instead of account managers, providing specialized expertise on demand without the overhead of full-time staff, and delivering consistent strategic guidance that turns marketing from a collection of scattered tactics into a reliable growth system, regardless of which specialists are involved for execution.
How does your company differentiate itself from competitors in the industry?
We always start with strategy because execution without direction is just costly guesswork. Before launching any campaign, creating content, or allocating budget, we work with clients to establish clear goals: where their business needs to go, how marketing supports that growth, and what success truly looks like. We conduct strategic alignment sessions to make sure that every dollar spent and every hour invested pushes clients closer to tangible business results. Whether clients engage us for a comprehensive growth system or a single initiative, this strategy-focused approach transforms marketing from just a department implementing tactics into a trusted function that leadership relies on to produce steady results.
How would you describe the dynamics within your team, and how do you foster collaboration and teamwork to achieve common goals?
I believe our “Village vibes” value captures the dynamics perfectly - We support each other, share both good and bad times, and hold one another accountable for what we commit to.
What measures do you take to support the professional development and growth of your employees? Do you offer training programs or opportunities for skill enhancement?
We prioritize individual growth conversations over generic training programs because meaningful development generally happens through direct discussion about core skill gaps. As a lean team, we focus on targeted development paths aligned with each person's role and our clients' expectations, although we're honest that we don't always achieve perfect consistency with formal reviews.
Could you share a notable success story or case study that exemplifies the impact your company has had on a client's business?
We have been partners with the Synergist for many years. They are a nonprofit organization that brings together stakeholders to address complex societal challenges, and we have helped them promote initiatives that directly enhance maternal health and patient engagement in healthcare.

Our most impactful work includes Safe Motherhood Week, where we created the creative concept, visual assets, landing page, and tracking infrastructure, reaching 1.7 million people (200% growth), generating 277 social engagements (5000% growth), and collecting 570 survey responses to inform better maternal care access across Europe.

We also managed the social media strategy for their Patient Engagement Open Forum (PEOF), developing the event's visual identity and executing a live content takeover that reached 4 million healthcare professionals, drove 60,000 interactions, and directly contributed to €116K in influenced revenue.

This work matters to us beyond typical marketing metrics. When your client's mission is to improve healthcare outcomes for millions of mothers and patients, strategic marketing becomes a tool for societal impact, not just business growth.
What industries do you primarily cater to, and do you have a significant percentage of repeat clients? If so, what is the ratio of repeat clients?
We focus exclusively on B2B tech-driven companies: software services, cybersecurity, AI, SaaS, healthtech, and outsourcing firms. This focus allows us to understand the long sales cycles, technical buying committees, and complex value propositions that make B2B tech marketing fundamentally different from consumer or traditional B2B sectors.

Our client retention demonstrates this expertise: about 50% of our revenue comes from retainer relationships, meaning half of our clients view us not just as project vendors but as ongoing strategic partners integrated into their growth plans. When marketing leaders in tech companies find an agency that truly understands their business model and can translate technical complexity into measurable pipeline growth, they tend to stay around.
What initiatives does your company undertake to foster innovation and stay at the forefront of industry trends? Do you invest in research and development projects?
We debrief after projects to identify what we can improve for next time. We keep it simple but learn with each new project. We’re a small agency, so there isn't much R&D we can do. Instead, we learn by doing and, most importantly, focus on thorough debriefings after each project to systematically assess what worked, what didn't, and how to get better next time. When you work only with similar companies facing the same growth challenges, like long sales cycles, complex buying committees, and technical value propositions, patterns form quickly, and improvements build over time.
Please share some of the most sought-after services that clients approach your company for.
Most B2B tech companies turn to us because their marketing feels scattered: random tactics, misaligned teams, and budgets spent without clear ROI.

We typically start with a clarity workshop that aligns leadership, sales, and marketing on what success looks like and how to achieve it systematically.

From there, the most common request is to rebuild their website, not as a design project, but as a growth engine that converts visitors into pipeline and scales with the business, rather than becoming outdated in 18 months.

Additionally, we can help develop an ideal brand identity for the company to create a cohesive, distinctive style that aligns with the strategy and marketing goals. We ensure consistent use across all assets and channels.

These three services complement each other because you can't build an effective website without strategic clarity on positioning, messaging, identity, and conversion goals. Strategic clarity without proper execution is just expensive PowerPoint slides gathering dust.
How do you build and maintain strong relationships with your clients, and what mechanisms do you have in place for gathering and acting upon client feedback?
A senior strategist from our core team oversees every client relationship. This person has an in-depth understanding of the client's overall business goals, extending beyond just marketing metrics. They ensure continuity throughout the engagement, regardless of which specialists handle specific tasks, maintaining strategic consistency and preventing the "telephone game" effect where your objectives get diluted through handoffs. After each project milestone, we conduct structured debriefs with clients to identify what's working, what needs adjustment, and how to shape the next phase.
How has your company adapted to changes and challenges in the business landscape, and what strategies have you employed to ensure resilience and sustainability?
We've adopted an open-book management approach, giving our team full transparency into business performance, financials, and strategic direction, so everyone understands how their work connects to the company's sustainability. By sharing the books, everyone sees how client retention drives stability, how strategic initiatives build long-term value beyond transactional projects, and why saying no to misaligned opportunities safeguards both quality and team capacity.
What payment structure do you typically follow when billing clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, or Pay per Milestone (phases, months, versions, etc.)?
We use two payment structures based on the engagement type: time-based retainers for ongoing strategic partnerships or fixed-price projects broken into milestones for specific initiatives.

Retainers are ideal when you need consistent strategic support - such as monthly marketing leadership that keeps your growth system running and adapting, rather than starting from zero each quarter.

Project-based pricing with milestone payments works well for particular deliverables like website rebuilds or campaign launches, where the scope is clear and outcomes are measurable.
Do you accept projects that meet your basic budget requirements? If yes, what is the minimum budget requirement? If no, what is the minimum budget you have worked with in the past?
Our minimum engagement is €5K, whether for strategic workshops, specific deliverables like landing page design, or monthly retainers with a three-month minimum commitment.

A strategic workshop provides enough time to thoroughly identify your strategic challenges and create actionable frameworks instead of offering only surface-level recommendations. The three-month retainer minimum is crucial because turning scattered marketing efforts into systematic growth requires more than 30 days. You need time to implement a strategy, evaluate results, and adjust your approach based on data.
Can you provide an overview of the price range (minimum and maximum) of the projects your company worked on in 2024?
I think the lowest pricing in 2024 was around €2.4K for a landing page design. Even lower than that were some €200 one-hour consultancy sessions, essentially "ask me anything" calls, where tech leaders can tap our expertise on specific problems.

I can’t really mention a maximum because project scope varies dramatically. Still, the common thread is that every engagement, regardless of price, starts with strategic thinking rather than jumping straight to execution.
What technological capabilities does your company possess, and are there any ongoing or planned investments in technology infrastructure or tools to enhance your services?
We leverage AI tools, modern design platforms, and marketing technology to increase speed and quality, but ironically, we're skeptical of technology just for technology's sake.

AI helps us speed up research, quickly iterate on messaging ideas, and spot patterns across campaigns that would take days or weeks to do manually.

Current design and marketing platforms allow us to prototype faster, test variations systematically, and track performance in real-time instead of waiting for monthly reports. We invest in new tools when they address real bottlenecks in our workflow or deliver significantly better results for clients.
Where do you envision your company in the next 10 years? What are your long-term goals and aspirations for growth and development?
We're working toward becoming one of the world's leading B2B marketing agencies, serving international clients across three continents, with a team truly exceptional at driving growth for our clients.

Our 10-year goal is to create a system where B2B tech companies worldwide can access senior strategic guidance alongside flawless execution, supported by a team that continually enhances its expertise with each client engagement. Growth means more tech companies moving away from scattered tactics and wasted budgets, transforming their marketing from random activities into dependable growth engines. Our offices, global presence, and network form the infrastructure that enables us to deliver these results at scale.
