As the CEO of Storm Brain, I am focused on our client relationships and overseeing the business operation alongside the business Founder & Chief Strategy Officer. As a team, we are focused on providing our clients with creative and results-based solutions. We’ve also prioritized building a team that is dedicated to the work that we do as an agency, functioning based on our core values as a business.

When determining the digital marketing strategy for any client, we take a thorough approach during the discovery of the project to understand the nuances of the business. Who are their ideal customers, and where are those audiences spending their time and focus as consumers. Whether serving B2B or B2C, we individualize the audiences and then build campaigns specifically around the ideal customer. We also launch every campaign with an understanding of our goals and measurements of success. It’s then imperative to create marketing and advertising assets that connect with the ideal customer speaking directly to their needs and interests in a way that is conversion oriented. The strategy is unique to the business based on each of these factors, and from there, we can execute, optimize, and manage our marketing campaigns effectively.

We work with businesses of all kinds. However, we have specialties with eCommerce brands, as well as the Healthcare, Technology, Financial Services sectors. Our clients often start the initial engagement with an independent project and then continue to work with us on an ongoing basis. About 70% of our clients are ongoing or repeat relationships. The remaining are new projects annually.

Always staying ahead of new industry trends and innovation in technology in general, as well as being flexible in your approach to bringing creative solutions to any account. There are strategies and techniques that have proven to be successful in any marketing strategy, but it’s important to test and optimize to see what’s working well and continue those elements of a strategy or bring new ideas to the strategy over time. Having a reliable and expert team to execute for our clients is also the key to success as an agency.
What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of a project?
We price our projects based on the service offerings and what’s needed to be successful for the client engagement. Various factors go into this, from time and resource allocation to expected costs for various elements of any project, whether it’s technology, or advertising spends, or other related elements to the project in general.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients?
Project-based engagements are priced with a project deposit to get started and at times, intermittent payments throughout milestones of the project delivery and a final payment prior to completion or launch. Ongoing engagements include retainer payments on a monthly basis for services provided on an ongoing basis.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2018?
Project-based investments range from $15,000 - $150,000 and ongoing engagements also range based on services provided from $2,500 - $25,000 a month.
Name a couple of activities that you think provide the best ROI in terms of benefit/impact when it comes to different areas of Digital Marketing.
Every business is different in how digital marketing ROI is measured will depend on what your unique goals are, as this varies based on specific business needs. Long term and short term ROI can also play a factor in this. The organic-search, paid-search, and content marketing offer great results that should be considered when considering any digital marketing strategy implementation.
