The Client & The App

Trava is a startup company in the United States that needed our support to build an app from scratch that will help groups plan their trips, making it a lot simpler and easier.

Our Role

The main goal for us was to build a mobile app that will allow users to create an itinerary based on preferences of all group members. What is more, the plan should be logistically-optimised so people do not have to waste time travelling long distances between successive locations. They should also be able to share their moments with not only group members, but the whole Trava community. Therefore, we needed to enrich the Trava app with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning solutions and social media features.

Results

In a year, we've developed Trava, a mobile app for travel planning. Trava offers a curated selection of destinations, attractions, and dining options for users to choose from. Users can also create their own selections, initiating trips and inviting others to join. They collectively decide on activities through voting, enriching the app's offerings. This expands the available options for all users when planning future trips.

As a result, the Trava app provides logistically-optimised itineraries, considering logistics, distances, and time-saving strategies to enhance the overall travel experience for each group member. Moreover, Trava encourages users to post about their trips on their own social feed, tagging their experiences. Those moments are recommended to the Trava community for inspiration, so other users with similar interests and preferences can save them to their bucket lists and plan their own future trips.

Trava has been live since January 2023 and is growing at 30% month-over-month. They’ve been successful, but are still working their way up by tinkering, listening to customer feedback, and iterating.

The client & the app

Intelligent Health Ltd.'s goal was to make street games digital and, therefore, more accessible, interactive and pleasant, and they have entrusted us with developing a mobile app from scratch to fulfil this vision.

Our role and involvement

The app was to allow logged-in users to collect points using their mobile only when reaching defined destinations. It was also meant to be a portable access point for every participant with traditional magnetic cards. The goal was to make participation easier and open to anyone.

Although there was a BTS landing page before, it only allowed users to check the number of points they collected. We had to rebuild it to bring a mobile app's functionality to the web. We had to ensure that people who don’t want to use the mobile app will have access to the same features (except a portable checking point).

The process

The project required a precise localization tracking solution without draining the device's battery, which we achieved through a proof of concept and optimization. After MVP testing and improvements, the fully-featured app was released in March 2023, leading to numerous street games being hosted using the BTS mobile app.

Results

Now, it allows users to collect points, monitor their scores and achievements, and offer assistance in finding checkpoint locations. Additionally, transportation is monitored to permit only specific travel methods between points (riding a car is forbidden).

The mobile app allows you to enhance gamification by adding the possibility of collecting gems. Those are randomly placed on the map and revealed when users are closed enough.

Testimonial

(...) working with them has been a pleasure. The working relationship and level of trust we've built up are outstanding. Moreover, the team's ethical approach to their business, honesty, and transparency are second to none. TeaCode has been super responsive to what we want to do and has a vested interest in our goals; they've very quickly become part of our team.

Financial & Payments

The goal

Paymi is a Canadian company that launched a cash-back app in 2014. The client had a web application for brands and companies that allowed them to post offers, choose target groups and analyse campaigns. There was also a mobile app for users to register to access their personalised offers and submit their credit card information to gain a refund based on card transactions automatically. We aimed to redesign and improve the mobile app to gain more loyal users and increase the conversion rate.

Needs & requirements

Paymi needed us to redesign the app within three weeks. We were also to make it stable and bug-free (we implemented the Sentry tool for error tracking).

Creating accounts, users provide Paymi with their full name, age, gender and location (and those willingly-provided data define offers people see). Creating such a profile with a credit card added is considered a conversion, and we had to make the conversion rate the highest possible (so we needed to implement an A/B testing tool - Google Firebase).

The mobile app was also where users could manage their email notifications preferences and turn them on/off.

To spread the news to the world, users can also invite their friends and family to the Paymi program (using their unique referral code) and receive a reward (a cash-back or a new offer).

Challenges

The main challenges were:

- a complete app redesign and redevelopment within a strict deadline of three weeks,

- an ultra-secure credit card integration as the app was based on Canadian bank account details,

- analytics setup as we needed to implement many analytics systems for internal Paymi marketing purposes (we needed to develop custom native apps in Kotlin and Swift to integrate them with the main app and then export the data to react native),

- optimisation as the app had been huge as it weight around 100Mb (we’ve decreased the size to around 20Mb currently).

Process & Cooperation

We started the cooperation with a strict-deadlined 3-week redesign, and then we were to maintain the app, fix issues and add new features.

Now, we aim to improve performance, decrease the app size, and restructure the code.

We don’t work on weekly sprints but on app versions. Together with Paymi, we define the scope of work and priorities for a particular app version, but we can implement additional improvements on our own.

Real Estate

The goal

Hocomo is a Polish company that operates in Europe. Hocomo allows its clients to design the customised container-module house of their dreams and build one within four weeks. Users can choose from various accessories and materials to fully personalise their future homes.

Needs & requirements

The client needed a web application with a customised form for sending messages directly from the website, defining all house parameters in the inquiry. We suggested building a visual configurator instead, so clients could see what the final home would look like. After submitting the project, users receive their house’s visualisation and detailed specification via email. Further communication was to be taken over by the sales team.

Hocomo also needed its employees to manage the website and its content without coding, so we used Prismic CMS. This solution was previously applied to both website content and configuration parameters, but at the next development, the stage was modified to ease price management using Google Sheets.

During the development process, additional needs emerged. Hocomo wanted to be able to constantly monitor the sales level, modify configurations and so on, so they needed an admin panel. The data should be easily exported to .xls file.

As Hocomo operates in the European market, they initially had a few domains to manage independently. We built one solution for multiple website management as they needed to make it more straightforward.

Process & Cooperation

We started cooperating with Hocomo by building a landing page and creating a visual configurator instead of a simple inquiry form. We’ve made a simple version of the admin panel to provide insight into the configurations.

The client’s needs have been changing during the development process, and the app is constantly improving.

The client entrusted us with software development consultation and coding from the beginning. Together, we managed to exceed the previous expectations.

Results

The project grew immediately from a simple landing page with a contact form to a localisation-specific visual configurator. Currently, the configurator has more than 100 thousand monthly visits and provides a lot of monthly inquiries.

We’re still expanding the functionality of the project to provide the client with a dashboard for clients, agreements and payments management.

Additionally, we started working on another project with the client.

Healthcare & Medical

The goal

Medicor is a medical clinic in Poland with five headquarters that needed redesigning and redeveloping its informative website. It was meant to be informative and evoke positive associations with warmth, family, care and comfort. They also needed to update their content effortlessly.

Needs & requirements

The ultimate issue was that users were easily lost navigating through the website, struggling with finding services and locations and needing more information. We needed to focus on usability and functionality design, creating a straightforward page structure and implementing a clear menu & breadcrumbs navigation, maps, and a search feature. A contact form was also required to allow people to send messages directly from the website.

Medicor needed to provide their clients with more detailed information about preparing for medical examinations, downloadable documents and e-prescriptions, so we decided to create a patient zone.

Another issue was that the website didn't offer a straightforward tool for content updating; therefore, much information needed to be updated. For this reason, we needed to implement an intuitive content management system (it must have been in Polish) to help the client keep the website content up-to-date.

Process & Cooperation

Medicor came to us with nothing but the goals defined, so we started the cooperation with a workshop to understand Medicor's business in detail: their objectives, current issues and needs.

Based on them, our business analyst conducted market research. We were also looking for a unique value proposition for local clients that might convince them to schedule an appointment at Medicor. We also needed to analyse customers to discover who they were and what features they needed.

Then, we built the page structure, wireframes and prototype. The latter was tested with users to verify whether the structure addressed their needs. With the results, we designed the page's interface, developed it and conducted quality assurance tests.

When the website was ready, we showed it to a group of users to test it in real life. When they expressed their approval, we officially launched the app. We have been taking care of maintenance since then.

Results

We've built a user-friendly website that meets all the requirements. Users are now navigating and finding locations or services with ease. UX-driven redesign and accentuating a phone number caused the conversion rate from phone calls to double.

Because the web app content is currently easily managed, all information is updated regularly. That affected how medical examinations go (patients are better prepared, and the number of ineffective visits decreased by 64%) and the amount of reception work (the number of emails with repetitive inquiries decreased by 57%).

The goal

Voicey was a startup company from the Netherlands that wanted to make cooperation between brands and influencers more straightforward.

They had a web app for brands, and a large part of a mobile app for influencers developed. They hired us to take over the mobile app development, fix bugs and help them improve it to gain substantial funding. We developed a brand new Voicey app from scratch when they were founded.

Needs & requirements

The app was meant to allow brands to submit proposals to particular influencers and make it easy for the latter to accept them or counteroffer (they could also contact brands on chat).

Influencers should respond immediately as the offers were limited in time. For this reason, one of the crucial features was a real-time email or mobile notification system when a new deal was available.

If an influencer accepted the deal, they automatically received a task that contained the content to publish. Although users could sign up using Facebook or Instagram accounts, connecting the latter was necessary to proceed with deals.

The Voicey app automatically verified whether the content was published and assigned rewards. It also provided stats on how many people clicked and engaged with the campaign and how many comments appeared under the content. In the app, influencers could also check their transactions list and payment history.

Challenges

The main challenges were:

-  pixel-perfect development and animated content (including a custom and animated price selector for setting the expected range for rewards).

-  deep integration with Instagram to verify whether influencers fulfilled their deals and posted content as scheduled,

-  cooperation with the client’s backend developer and project management to unite efforts to effectively cope with problems like Instagram API limitations and stability issues,

-  chat development was also a challenge as it had many features, were to work in real-time, and users were to be notified about new messages.

Process & Cooperation

At the earliest stage of the project, we fixed and improved the app’s first version. We needed to re-code some parts of the app. As a result, Voicey received $250K in funding (according to Crunchbase), and we started the redevelopment process.

Project management was led by the client. We worked in one-week sprints, establishing tasks for the next week. The client conducted Quality Assurance testing and backend development, but we were responsible for the design.

We were a technical advisor for Voicey, solely responsible for the business vision of the project. Together, we were looking for the best way for the project in terms of what features to implement and how to do that relatively straightforwardly and within the budget.

The Client & The App

The client is a group of three individuals: a pilot, a compliance manager, and an auditor, all with aviation-related roles within the industry.

The client aimed to create an aviation audit platform that streamlines the process, leading to improved operational efficiency within the industry. This platform simplifies audit preparations and conducting, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations.

Our Role

Our role was to develop a web app to streamline the audit process, aiming to assist customers by digitising and simplifying audits, along with offering legal insights.

To address the crucial aspects of audit management and execution in the aviation industry, together with the client, we identified two key functionalities.

The platform was needed to enable compliance managers to schedule and manage audits efficiently. This involved determining when audits should occur and what specific areas or topics they should cover. Then, the platform would dynamically generate tailored audit questionnaires based on the type of company and relevant industry requirements.

Results

Instead of creating a single platform with varying access levels, we developed three distinct platforms that collectively enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the aviation audit process.

First, we developed an admin panel for user access and question management, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations. The system we built prevents duplication of questions and intelligently prioritises unseen questions in audits.

The second was the domain expert panel that facilitates the management and review of audit questions, enabling contributions from experts.

Lastly, we built the compliance manager panel that supports audit scheduling, evaluation, and documentation of findings, ensuring adherence to established procedures.

The audit process begins with the compliance manager scheduling the evaluation, followed by meticulous assessment by the auditor and a comprehensive report summarising the findings. The auditee collaborates by providing insights and solutions on areas for improvement. The compliance manager then monitors the implementation of these recommendations, culminating in generating a final report that completes the audit process.

Client’s goal

Deutsche Bildung entrusted us with their project to create a student loan web app. The client's main goal was to boost online loan applications and support student success as they embarked on their careers.

Initially, the client had an unintuitive form for loan-taking that failed to generate significant interest. To improve conversion rates, we prioritised designing a user-friendly, intuitive, and mobile-ready form.

The process

Our involvement in the project gradually expanded over time. Until the end of 2022, we worked in close cooperation with Distology Studios, and since 2023 we're solely responsible for the project.

The design was created by an external agency. But as the User Experience was crucial for students to successfully complete the form, we made adjustments to make it more intuitive.

Once the design was ready, we focused on building the front-end solution, without incorporating a database or login functionality. After providing the form, we started to build additional features.

We had a tight deadline because the client was switching off their old systems, which required this new one to work properly.

In January 2023, we took over the whole project and are now solely responsible for it. It was possible because we proved our trustworthiness, skills and transparency during the previous cooperation.

Results

We’ve created a loan-taking web app that is secure and compliant with GDPR regulations but, at the same time, remains user-friendly and intuitive.

Some of the solutions we’ve made:

- complicated system of forms that was visually appealing and mobile-friendly
- notifications to remind students to complete partially filled forms
- ID verification with IDnow - students meet with a consultant who confirms whether their identity matches the shown ID before signing the contract
- online agreement signing by integrating the system with a solution that supports editable document formats
- secure passwordless login by implementing Cognito
- easy content management for the client by using Contentful
- the career counselling portal, where students can find supportive articles, images and videos

The client & The App

The client is a Polish company seeking to create a platform for energy suppliers and producers, enabling them to search for energy resources easily. Their goal was to simplify energy procurement, making it more effective for businesses.

Our Role and Involvement

The client’s goal was to develop a B2B platform with the intent of simplifying the way users source energy, making it more convenient for businesses to secure their energy needs.

They've noticed that in the Polish market, such a platform is currently lacking. By addressing this gap, they intend to foster the growth of the energy sector in Europe.

Results

The client's B2B platform operates on a closed model, requiring users to submit applications, including NDAs, for approval. Full administrative control is maintained, and new clients are added manually.

The platform enables organisations to manage accounts for multiple employees, featuring a unique "sorting preferences" option for fine-tuning energy procurement displaying order. Energy supply offers are categorised, and users can respond to them, initiate negotiations, and compare proposals through parameter manipulation.

The platform assesses financial benefits and risk profiles, considering factors like energy supply consistency and user requirements. Users can upload CSV files for comparison charts and negotiate deals using a term sheet. They can clarify the terms, and the other party can accept, reject, or end negotiations if the terms are unsatisfactory.

Streamlining document upload and preliminary negotiations, the platform lacks a digital contract signing feature. However, it includes a contract management feature, offering widgets for summarising and tracking invoices within each contract.

The business result for the client was the creation of an advanced marketplace that significantly enhanced the efficiency and transparency of energy procurement processes, providing a seamless platform for contract negotiation and management.

The Client & The App
Augurian is a well-established United States company that helps businesses with planning marketing strategies and running digital campaigns. Gainspot is their innovative MVP app built to support digital marketing experts in optimising their paid campaigns and increasing visibility on the Internet.

There are three main pillars of Gainspot: SEM module, SEO module and ChatGPT report.

Our Role
The client had their web app in an early stage of development, but they were not satisfied with the way how the app was built and the overall result. Despite having beta testers, the app's release was constantly postponed. Our role included immediate fixes, essential feature integration for beta testing, and continuous enhancements driven by user feedback.

Results
We managed to implement all the changes and features necessary to release the beta version of the app. Our ongoing efforts include refining the received code for improved quality and implementing changes based on users’ feedback. Currently, we're actively developing additional user-friendly features such as visualisations, filters, and dashboards.

The app remains in closed beta version, with a continuous onboarding of new users (including leading technology companies). The client's goal is to gain extensive feedback and improve the app before transitioning to a broader audience in the future.

The client & the app

AutopilotHQ (currently Orrto) asked us to improve its marketing automation platform with the goal of increasing competitiveness and customer satisfaction.

Our role and involvement

Our role was to integrate Mailchimp and Intercom to share data seamlessly. They also wanted to create a robust but lightweight chatbot that could compete with solutions like Intercom to the benefit of customers on the AutopilotHQ platform.

For AutopilotHQ integration with Mailchimp and Intercom, we had to find a solution for managing a large amount of data, taking into account the potential limitations of the systems. Also, overcoming legacy app development in CoffeeScript and SproutCore was essential.

Building a chatbot, we were to create a widget that seamlessly integrates with diverse websites, operates swiftly, and maintains a visually appealing appearance.

Results

Currently known as Orrto, the AutopilotHQ app allows users to integrate various systems like Mailchimp and Intercom into one, thanks to the integrations we built.

Additionally, we built a lightweight chatbot widget that is added to clients' websites without slowing down or burdening websites.

To manage chatbots, clients access a user-friendly web app with features like conversation management, customizable chat design, app administration, and playbook creation.

We also built an administration panel for AutopilotHQ in the form of a web app so they can manage the clients who use their chatbot effectively.

The chatbot system is also connected to the Slack platform to make conversation management more straightforward.

The chat feature, launched for beta users, received highly positive feedback for its ability to handle multiple conversations seamlessly.

"The best way to empower a good problem solver like TeaCode.io is by trusting them. Be transparent and share the problem you’re trying to solve. Their team could surprise you."

The client & the app

Serious Offer, an Australian real estate company, approached us to develop a user-friendly web app facilitating apartment search and direct purchase offers. The goal was to streamline the process, allowing users to browse and make offers from the comfort of their homes, with additional support for those facing challenges in finding their ideal apartment.

Our role and involvement

We needed to build a responsive web app that would work well on all devices and allow users to search for flats by using maps. Then, users should be able to create an offer and send it to the owner - without navigating through various websites and visiting sellers in person to present it.

Results

Currently, with "Serious Offer," users log in to a platform integrated with Google Maps. They explore regions of interest, identify apartments, and assess them visually through Google images.

If they are interested, they can click the "Send Offer" button. Users can construct their offers using credits within the app (rechargeable), and submit them electronically. Subsequently, in the MVP version, the Serious Offer administrators print out these offers and send them to the apartment owners.

Upon receiving an offer, the apartment owner gains the opportunity to evaluate it. If interested, they log into Serious Offer using a provided code from the letter or by scanning a QR code. This initiates a chat within the platform, fostering direct communication between the interested parties. Here, they can engage in discussions about the feasibility and details of the potential transaction.

The client & The app

Amber-living is a German internet furniture and textile catalogue which aggregates data from different shops and marketplaces. Their goal was to redevelop a web application using modern technologies, so it would allow users to find appropriate products on-site easily, using filters and off-site via search engines.

Our role and involvement

Our task was to rebuild the web application so that the products were presented in a thoughtful and user-friendly way. In addition, our client's main goals were to ensure a high position in search results and allow its customers to find the website easily.

We couldn’t miss implementing robust data filtering mechanisms. As the website's product catalogue expanded, presenting products became a challenge. There were a large number of images but users didn’t see them at first; they saw a blank space and must wait for the products’ images to load. We had to prevent that.

Another aim we had to reach was applying appropriate data filtering. We needed to find a new solution that would provide us with the flexibility to query data as needed.

Results

Through our collaboration, we successfully delivered a fully functional app on time. It not only met the initial requirements but also improved user experience by addressing data filtering and image loading challenges. We enhanced site visibility in search results, integrated a blog, and implemented Enhanced E-Commerce for data-driven decision-making.

Other Industries

The client & the app

The client was a well-established Norway company that wanted to revolutionise the security industry. Touchcom aimed to simplify everyday life by making it easier to conveniently manage entrances, especially when residents are away.

Our role and involvement

In order to build such a security system, we needed to build three apps. First, Touchcom needed a web app with an admin panel to see people who are currently in the building, monitor entrances and grant access.

Secondly, Touchcom required a mobile application allowing users to open doors remotely using their smartphones.

The third was an intercom app that was meant to handle the entrances. Our task involved creating a solution for particular devices responsible for remote door opening.

Results

The main goal was to make the IoT solution fully integrated into the existing security systems for all buildings and properties. In a few months, we have built a stable, secure and easy-to-manage system for residents, installers and property administrators that allows them to enter buildings either via an access card, video or traditional call.

Touchcom includes a web app with an admin panel for real-time tracking, entrance monitoring, and access control. Admins can add users, assign cards, and manage additional staff with specific entry permissions.

The mobile app, compatible with iOS and Android, enhances user experience by enabling video call responses, remote door opening, and configuration settings for granting permissions to couriers.

We also built a monitoring system that allows the client to remotely check whether each device works properly. It also allows us to respond to any issues immediately before any user notices them.

The system is reliable and installed at over 30 building sites with over 30,000 users. It was installed even in places like the Argentina embassy and women’s crisis help centre.

“(...) we work really well together”.

The goal

Our clients were Ari and Max, who spent a lot of time travelling and wanted to build an app that would help them track their voyages around the world. The app is something they’ve always wanted for themselves - a way to memorize where they've already been to and share where they want to go in the future.

Needs & requirements

40k was planned as an MVP. They needed to gather feedback and test whether there was a demand on the market for such a solution.

Currently, the app allows users to track which places they’ve visited, which are their favourites and where they would like to go in the future.

Users can build an app without registering, but it’s required if they want to save or share their maps through email and social media (Facebook & Instagram).

The app was to be simple and functional in order to fulfil the initial goal.

Challenges

The main challenge was connected with Instagram API. It performs well when it comes to sharing on mobile devices, but this functionality is unavailable on desktop.

Process & Cooperation

Our clients provided us with the main requirements for the app and designs. Our goal was to advise them according to the development possibilities, define the scope of work, build and test the app, as well as launch it to the market.

We delivered the app within two months.

Result

“Teacode was able to scope the project, stay within a committed budget and work through some natural development changes. There was a transition between PMs that could have slowed us down- but it was very well managed, and we didn't skip a beat. The MVP functions well and is allowing us to gain traction with users and investors.

They were a partner in development, completely organized, good communication, and transparent with pricing. We have worked with many engineering teams and will always go back to Teacode first.”

Real Estate

The goal

Buzzin was a startup company from the United Arab Emirates. The client wanted to build a system for access and entry tracking of different people in various buildings in a contactless manner. Our goal was to provide the concept of the solution and develop it.

Needs & requirements

We’ve built a system for estate and building management that allow their residents to provide access to specific people at a particular time. Property owners or managers can control the whole process and provide authorisations.

The system works in real-time, communicates with other devices, allows to identify of each user and handles tokens that guarantee access within a specified time. The entrance is available using QR codes and a proximity system (NFC).

The system consists of:

– a web app with a management panel for owners/managers of the residential area to control the process and assign authorisations

– a mobile app for the residents, visitors and deliveries

– a web app with a panel for deliveries

– a web app with an admin panel for data analysis and overall system management

– a web app for QR codes and self-check-in

Challenges

The main challenges were:

-  using of NFC to open doors and sending data between iOS and Android devices,

-  using of short-period QR codes,

-  building a tracking algorithm that allowed us to safely give, take away and control access to the buildings,

-  creating an NDEF message algorithm to create inquiries in Java language for Mifare Ultralight and Felica-type cards.

Process & Cooperation

We started with mockups taking into account user experience, and then our clients’ designer provided the User Interface project. Based on them, we developed front-end and backend solutions for every kind of device and conducted quality assurance testing. When we were confident the system worked as planned, the client received the system for testing.

We are creating new functionalities and implementing new features in Buzzin.

Results

“The solution developed by TeaCode.io is bug-free, and everything works well. We’ve only had one incident, but it was caused by third-party integration. Still, whenever they find issues, they quickly solve them.”

Business Services

The goal

TBP2 is a well-established company in the United Kingdom which offers reports about salaries and benefits for C-level executives. The main goal was to rebuild their website to provide users with an exceptional experience.

Needs & requirements

The website was designed to be modern, professional and easily editable (with a CMS). We were also to develop a custom solution to provide potential customers with a product sample that encourages them to buy the full report for more information. Payment integration was also needed so they could buy the service immediately.

Process & Cooperation

The client came to us with nothing but the need. The first step was to plan what we wanted to achieve and how.

We started with a workshop to build wireframes. The goal was to define what elements we needed on the website and why. We’ve done that hand in hand with the client.

Having wireframes, an external design team designed the app we adjusted them to the client’s needs and aesthetics. After that, the development team started to code the app and tested the outcome.

The client needed some time to learn the CMS system, so we took time to help them get to know the new tool. When employees familiarised themselves with the new tool and learnt its possibilities and limitations, we gathered the list of adjustments they wanted to make. After implementing those changes, the app was ready.

We still work with TBP2 on maintenance and improvements.

Results

"Clients loved the new look website and commented on this. (...) Our staff are not IT literate, and their staff were very impressive how they did not make us feel like we should understand IT language etc., they took the time for us to explain in our own words what needed doing."

Chief Executive Officer, TBP2 Ltd

Healthcare & Medical

The goal

Prossto is a thriving pilates salon that was looking for an opportunity to continue its mission in another way during COVID-19.

They had a website, but they wanted to create a web portal instead, allowing people to care for their physical condition despite the pandemic. They needed a platform where their clients could register to get access to instructional videos so they could exercise at home.

Needs & requirements

Prossto needed a platform created for hosting exercise videos. Users should be able to find suitable videos through filters, watch predefined programs and add their films to their planned or favourite videos.

The client also needed an admin panel. It should allow administrators to manage the movies, add new ones, describe them and join into programs. Each programme should be assigned to one or many categories that indicate the difficulty level, equipment needed and parts of a body trained.

Challenges

The ultimate challenge was that the client came to us with nothing more than an idea. We were responsible for the whole process – including conceptualization, user experience, interface design and further development, testing and deployment. We work in very close cooperation with Prossto.

Integrations are always a challenge. We integrated the website with stripe to provide users with secure payment possibilities and wistia for hosting videos.

Process & Cooperation

Initially, we had to describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The next step was pilates-online platform development, including project & design.

Having the platform backend, we provided wistia integration for video hosting and stripe integration to offer secure payments. We integrated the website with mailer lite integration to offer an easy but powerful email marketing tool.

We’re still working with ProSSto to improve the platform.

Results

“Within first 3 weeks we gathered 40 subscribers what is really high score and big success of a common work.(...) Fantastic communication with the customer, transparent way of working on every step, answering every question and proposal of changing the project, they are flexible and cooperative, very often suggesting new, better solutions. (…) Their flexibility, knowledge, and professionalism stood out to us. They also work quickly and communicate well.”

Advertising & Marketing

The client & the app

The client was a start-up company based in the United States that wanted to streamline and improve their outbound marketing campaigns. They envisioned a campaign automation platform that would simplify the messaging process.

Our role and involvement

In this project, our main focus was developing a web platform for ClosedWon clients to facilitate advanced campaign automation.

Our goal was to enable users to automate campaigns with their contact lists and offer sorted lead packages for purchase. The client also wanted users to engage potential customers through email and LinkedIn messaging, emphasising a fully automated process for time efficiency. Ensuring seamless app operation was crucial, especially with the potential for thousands of contacts to prevent application overload and crashes.

Results

We developed a fully-featured ClosedWon web app for automated campaign building and an admin panel for user and lead management. The system fulfils all requirements for the project, including Gmail-based signup.

ClosedWon automates email and LinkedIn outreach through integrated Gmail and LinkedIn functionality, adhering to rules and best practices. Users can customise their automation path with intricate conditional logic, allowing flexibility to skip or revisit steps.

The app facilitates lead package purchases, offering a user-friendly filtering feature for selecting leads based on specific criteria, like targeting C-level managers in the Western United States.

While contacted, recipients are able to choose the right time slot and schedule a meeting via the ClosedWon system thanks to a built-in calendar tool.

As a result, ClosedWon provides a comprehensive solution for managing client’s contacts, creating campaigns, and reaching the desired audience, all while offering the flexibility to buy leads and tailor marketing efforts to the client’s specific needs.

Travel & Lifestyle

The goal

The client was an Italian startup that needed our hand fixing and improving their mobile app for joining people into groups for common travelling. Skydreamer needed us to finish and fix their mobile app in no time, as the app must have been ready for TechCrunch fairs.

They needed us to handle present issues and launch the app to Play Store and App Store.

Needs & requirements

The app allowed users to create a trip (choose the date and starting point) and invite friends they wanted to travel with (via Facebook, Whatsapp or other). Then, comrades voted on destinations by swiping. They could chat with each other.

People could also book flights directly from the app and store the tickets there for an even more straightforward journey experience.

To reach the goal and have the app ready on time, we needed to redevelop the app completely and then add the necessary features.

Challenges

The main challenge was to build a swiping feature for ineffective mobile phones of that time.

Process & Cooperation

Although Skydreamer entrusted us with fixing the app, it turned out immediately that the best and quickest way was complete redevelopment.

We took over the project management and advised the client how to build the app most efficiently.

We managed to deliver a reliable and bug-free app on time.

Result

“It was very effective and fast although being remote and offshore. I’m an italian co-founder, speking english fluently we didn’t have any problem understanding eachother. (…)

Their very high reliable skillset and knowledge of various technologies. Their reliability and transparency were valuable assets. Their genuine in making fully working products.”

The client & the app

SimplifiedBody was an app designed and developed for a dietitian from the United Kingdom who ran a SaaS company that provided a nutrition system for personal trainers.

The client needed to replace their self-managed WordPress site with a more sophisticated solution in order to unleash the business potential that was limited by technology.

Our role and involvement

Our task involved building a SaaS white-label application for personal trainers. Each trainer was to receive access to their own custom and branded application that was offered to clients of their own (end-users).

We had to manage both API integration and nutrition recommendation algorithms, dealing with a large amount of data. One crucial aspect we needed to address was white-labelling. Since our goal was to create a SaaS solution, it was essential for every personal trainer to customise the app according to their branding preferences.

Results

We focused on user customisation, allowing trainers to brand their apps with logos and colour palettes. We also implemented colour verification to ensure branding coherence.

We created three panels: a master admin panel for SimplifiedBody to manage trainers and the meal database, individual panels for trainers to add meals and manage end-users, and a customer application for end-users to generate personalised meal plans based on their preferences and nutrition goals.

The app tracked progress, enabling users to add measurements, images, and receive motivational reminders. We maintained a dynamic development process, incorporating feedback and consistently updating the app to meet evolving needs.

The goal

Renoon is a global clothing company that offers eco-friendly clothes. Their main goal is to protect our environment by promoting wearing clothes and spreading ecological awareness through their blog.

Our client had a mobile app but wanted to provide users with a multichannel experience with a web app. It should give the possibility to search through the offers of thousands of clothing companies and find the best new and pre-owned sustainable options.

Needs & requirements

Our client wanted to create a website that enables users to browse clothes, search for them, and filter them out. They wanted to provide a blog to increase eco-awareness among their clients.

The website was to be built according to the design of the mobile application. Users should feel they are buying natural and sustainable fashion from the first moment they enter the page. On the other hand, the design was supposed to stay modern.

Renoon was created using the next.js framework, which allowed us to optimise the page for SEO and make it work fast and smoothly. We have also made a great effort to make the page highly responsive and easily accessible during login.

The client provided the backend, and our task was to integrate our part of the project with it. Renoon decided to use WordPress for content creation, so our job was to prepare the page for any data and display it fitting the page design.

Challenges

The biggest challenge was a complicated system of filters that should be applied to the browser research. The API used by the client enabled searching via many fields but only gave them information on what filters were possible to use once getting all the data. Using next.js functionality, we fastened getting the data in the background and displayed all the available filters to the user right after entering the search page.

Another one was the integration with the existing database.

Process & Cooperation

Our team created great graphic designs that showed the shop’s fresh, contemporary, and sustainable style and developed the entire front-end using React and Next.js.

We provided our client with a fully functional web application. After release, Renoon took the further development process on their shoulders.

Education

The Client & The App

Meconed is a medical education startup from Belgium that wanted to make medical knowledge-sharing easier.

Our Role and Involvement

To fulfil the goal, Meconed wanted us to build a web app that gathers medical professionals and allows them to upload or record presentations based on the one they had at a medical conference. The uploaded or recorded presentation should be easily shareable.

The ultimate challenge was presentation recording, as we had to ensure it would work smoothly on any device and web browser. We also had to take care of formatting the presentations and of Search Engine Optimisation. The client also required the app to be fast-loading, and as AWS Amplify was chosen, it was a challenge to deal with performance issues in the case of no visits during a significant time.

Results

We built a responsive web application that was perfectly adjusted to mobile devices. The responsive web design approach allowed us to build one web app that looks perfect on any device: desktop, tablet and mobile.

We built the front-end of the app using react.js. It's the best choice for quickly-loading and SEO-optimised applications. For the backend, we used AWS Amplify as it allows us to develop what was planned and reduce costs simultaneously.

Hand in hand with Meconed, we developed a fully-featured app that fulfils our client's needs.
