We had ancient existing systems that handled some of this, but they were limited in their functionality and expensive to maintain. We wanted to replace our internal system and that of a 3rd party vendor with a single system, which would reduce our complexity as well as maintenance. We followed the agile methodology, with daily stand up meetings, two-week duration sprints with reviews of the application, requirements gathering and review meetings, and user involvement. The key deliverable was a single web application that provided all the functionality and could handle different user roles as well. Main technology was C# with a SQL Server database, plus integration of Azure AD to provide integrated single sign on. We were able to completely sunset our old order entry system plus not renew a contract with a 3rd party that was giving us headaches. Our customers were able to quickly learn the new application, and we have received numerous accolades.

I’m not sure I can provide any concrete metrics because we’re almost in the same spot with the site as we were last year in terms of site growth. However, TechTIQ Solutions has implemented what we’ve requested, contributing to the site’s easy use.

Given that I'm a finance person, and my partner is a developer, we didn't have the experience in user personas. Thus, Brew Interactive showed us the different customer journeys. Through our platform, we show our customers their financial performance and some detailed information. Therefore, there's a lot of information on the screen when users use our platform. Nonetheless, Techtiq Solutions set up everything in a way that we could show only the important information for each user.

TechTIQ Solution is always on top of my needs and constantly communicate. Compared to the first development team I worked with, they’re much more responsive. That means a lot to me, especially when a project ends up taking longer than expected. We use a shared Trello board to see where we are in our sprints. I get notifications when a task moves from one stage to the next, which lets me and my team to jump in and test what’s happening.
