Our team built a tablet app that helps horticulturalists monitor and observe their greenhouses on a daily basis from anywhere, anytime. Thanks to this solution, the Agile Systems team is now able to provide its clients with a highly responsive and intuitive app that releases them from the need to be regularly on-site in the greenhouse in order to detect existing or newly arising issues. With this new tool, nothing goes unnoticed or is discovered too late, for that matter - the clients get daily reports on the state of their greenhouses as well as on the plants, vegetables, and fruits in need of constant care and attention.
Our team also created a portal app, which is a type of sophisticated admin panel, that allows the manager to have a look at the state of each greenhouse at a given moment, with the option to also check the overall system components such as greenhouse clusters. It also allows the managers to give instructions to the on-site workers based on the observations they receive from the app. Another advantage of this tool is that it can operate in a semi-offline mode which is a great advantage considering the slow or non-existent internet connectivity in greenhouses.

Leveraging Genius Mobile App

On the mobile level, Volo delivered an app, created for iOS and Android, aptly named Leveraging Genius. As a professional development platform, it successfully helps individual users and corporate teams to explore, discover, and maximize their genius. Volo re-architected and refactored the app’s entire structure and custom-created several solutions and features that took its functionality to the next level. All in all, Volo has custom-created an array of software applications, including Business Structure Setup and Tracking Tool Platforms for Online Diagnostic Assessment, Corporate Data Visualization, Executive Learning, User Specific Learning Enhancements to existing applications with new functionalities Motivational and training mobile apps for iOS and Android.

Our partner client, a veteran in the construction services industry, came to us with an idea of digitizing a business sector that has fallen quite behind the digital age. Their company was growing, yet most of the business processes in the industry at large were accomplished through Excel sheets and phone calls. Thus, the co-founders of fixn wanted to respond to the global demands of digital transformation and take their industry to the next level. Their idea was to build an MVP for a solution that would put all household-related help at clients’ fingertips and, in turn, enable contractors by giving them an easier way to do business and providing them with a larger client pool.

As a newcomer into the tech world, our partner came to trust our input on the project, because they appreciated the fact that we don’t start with the what – we start with the why. Combining their research along with our own, we created a digital representation of the key messages and functionality with a UX/UI designed to incentivize the membership service. Our challenge was to create a digital experience ripe with customization, ease of use, and security. To that end, we created 2 applications – one for clients to request contractor services and one for contractors to list their services, respond to client requests and inquiries, and earn money. We also built a backend with an admin panel for ease of management.

WellBe was designed as a means to simplify the complicated process of healthcare, similar to Alexa and Siri, but focusing specifically on healthcare. The WellBe virtual assistant covers virtually everything – medication and appointment reminders, drug recalls, Medicare benefits, initiating emergency calls, locating key facilities and services, renewing prescriptions, etc.
Many elderly patients have caregivers, which is why WellBe also has the option to inform caregivers on when or whether the patient has taken their required dosage of medication, what appointments the patient has coming up or has missed, etc.
The WellBe mobile app provides for the easy and secure setup and management of the voice-activated assistant. To use the device, you set up a Virtual Household, to which new users can be added upon registration. Through the app, you can then create roles (e.g. caregiver, care receiver) and assign the appropriate permissions to those roles to be able to perform this or that action.
The app also activates WellBe’s Voice Training feature by recording certain prompted phrases of each user’s voice. Based on the users’ PINs, it is then able to differentiate people based on their voice. This feature is also color-coded in the device, meaning that each person’s voice activates a certain color in WellBe.

With its user-friendly UI, the accompanying WellBe smartwatch monitors the users’ step count and heartbeat with the option to place emergency calls with the users’ location report.

The concept behind ZipScripts was to simplify how prescriptions are stored and delivered. The company wanted to create a solution that would allow patients to send their prescriptions to their preferred pharmacy in advance, hence enabling the pharmacists to get a head start on the filling process and pick up their medication immediately after getting to the pharmacy, bypassing the waiting time and complying more effectively with post-COVID regulations.

Our team took on the challenge of bringing this human-centered idea to life and built the entire application in a mere 3 months. The ZipScripts app is simple to use with a user-friendly and responsive interface to ensure a seamless experience. It is both iOS- and Android-compatible and enables patients to receive their medication with just a few quick steps:

The SharkNinja team approached VOLO with the need to finetune and revamp an already existing mobile application for their robot vacuum cleaners.
Our team took on the challenge of breathing new life into this highly used and useful app and turning it into a tool that would meet the expectations of even the most scrupulous users. Throughout the course of our collaboration with SharkNinja, we have managed to improve the app from multiple aspects.
By fixing the existing flaws and faulty features and adding new functionalities, we now have a highly scalable app, rebuilt for both iOS and Android users, that enables a smooth user experience and easy remote control of the robots. Since our collaboration with SharkNinja is ongoing, the app will continue to be refined and adapted to the market demands.
