Woods & Walker is a founder-led custom software development company and technology consultancy, based in Newcastle upon Tyne since 2015 and working with businesses across the UK, from London, Bristol and the South Coast to Birmingham, the Midlands, Leeds, Manchester and the North East.

We're business owners who solve problems with technology. Running our own business means we deal with the same things our clients do: tight budgets, hiring, competing priorities and systems that don't quite fit. That's why we treat every client's budget like our own, and why every recommendation we make has to earn its place.

Sometimes the right answer is bespoke, business-critical software. Sometimes it's setting up the tools a business already pays for properly. Our advice is independent: we aren't tied to any supplier and we never take referral commissions, so we give an honest answer, even when that means less work for us.

Clients deal directly with the owners, Oli and James, from the first conversation to launch and beyond. We're deliberately a small, senior team, so there's no account manager to get past, no project manager relaying messages and no handover between sales and delivery. Nobody has to explain their business twice, and it's always clear who is accountable.

We work with startups, SMEs and enterprise organisations, and have been trusted by clients including Intel, Warburtons, Tata Communications, Northumbria University, Shared Interest and Nomad Digital. Many of our clients have worked with us for years and still deal with the same people they met on day one.
