EMS is a great event managment tool
Review Summary
EMS provides our school with ample room to grow and build our scheduling community with the shared event and academic scheduling spaces a lot of other tools don't offer us. Their integration with so many other campus services is vital for our campuses to be productive during this tight budget times.

Solid Program, Usual Tech Support Issues
Review Summary
We implemented EMS on our campus a few years ago. As a product, it has been a big help to the Registrar's and Hospitality Offices in their day to day work. The Web App feature allows constituents on campus to submit requests. We lost some functionality in the web-based tool when we switched from our previous software, but EMS is working rather intentionally to add more features to it and soon. The only frustration we've had is tech support. Shortly after migrating to EMS, their company was acquired - twice. Accruent wasn't ready to take on the tech support load and it seems they lost some of their senior tech folks in the acquisition. As a consequence, it was really hard to get reliable and accurate answers from anyone for nigh on two years. We had to be pretty resourceful and clever in-house to remedy what we could. Their tech support response time has greatly improved, but the techs are still pretty green. A lot of places are experiencing this issue right now, so don't disqualify the idea of going to EMS because of it, just know what you are getting into. The product itself is very flexible and great to use.
