Review Summary

I've been working with ADP for well over 20 years. They have worked hard over the years to keep up with the demands from HR individuals like myself. They have a solid, easy to use, payroll software system with modules that have been integrated well to make a seamless system. Their customer service has struggled in the past but they seem to have worked out the bugs and are back to being solid in this area as well. I would recommend ADP to anyone out there that wants a good payroll system that still fits into your budget.

Review Summary

I have used ADP WorkForce Now for about 3.5 years. It covers a lot of areas within the HR/Accounting processes is not that hard to use, it has a lot of tutorials on how to do things and it can run smoothly for some time. The problems start when you need support, you call a 1-800 number and the call can be routed to a stateside call center in VA or one in the Philippines. During the first 3 years most of my dealings where with the VA center and normally the issues were resolved in the same call or a few days. For some reason over the last 6 months the Customer Service have decay to a point that either you don’t get the issues resolved on the same call or it takes weeks to get them resolved. In addition to the support we experienced problems with the sales team, When you as a client have to try to reach to someone for a few months to try to add a module that should have raised a red flag right there. Our account representative changed about 3 times in 2 weeks, then we had a similar experience during implementation of another module. At the end like I mentioned earlier, the system in itself is good but at the moment you hit an obstacle the company employees just make it harder instead of resolving the issues.

Review Summary

As someone who has worked with ADP and a couple of other payroll software vendors over the last ten years or so, I can appreciate how ADP is constantly improving themselves through the use of their "Product Feedback" located on all their module pages. I also appreciate the fluidness of data between modules from Payroll to Time & Attendance to Recruiting. As our needs grow, so does their features it seems. Thanks for that!

Review Summary

We made the switch from a smaller payroll provider to ADP about 2 years ago. Implementation was a nightmare. Now we are moving steadily along but if we hit a hiccup, the customer service is lacking. We do not have a dedicated representative so often we are calling in to the regular client services line and getting a different person each time, in the US and outside of the US. We like the time and attendance feature and the GL feature for payroll when it works. The technology IS improving (I like the customer service chat function for quick solutions) and they are making things more self-service which I like. Still some work to be done. Overall not bad.

Review Summary

ADP Workforce Now is well suited for small and large organizations. I can manage payroll, employee information, training and onboarding documents, and I-9's all on one platform. I can process a new hire, scan all documents into their profile, assign a pay card, print an employee's W2, and download state and federal 941 forms for an audit. All of this can be done on one platform. ADP's Client Services division is dedicated to helping you! I have called them numerous times and every time they have an answer to my question; basically saving the day! The Workforce Now reporting feature is robust! There are sample reports already created for you to choose from. You can also create a custom report, which is simple to do. Since making the change from our previous payroll provider to ADP Workforce Now, I have been able to save 4 hours per pay period in manual entries. That's 104 hours per year that can be used toward other projects. We are also paperless with our payroll and have reports we can count on! ADP Workforce Now is truly fantastic!

Review Summary

As a long time user of ADP WFN at multiple companies I can say things have gone downhill. For an organization that has one FEIN number that is not "complicated" this could be a great HRIS/payroll/time and attendance/benefits platform for you. I would warn you that you need to from the start know your stuff and to not need customer service. Be very wary of how your set up is done by ADP and TEST TEST TEST yourself. They will get things wrong. ADP's Bridge is awesome for talking to other professionals but if talking to ADP on it ask for proof because ADP moderators will tell you one thing and it will turn out to be wrong information. If you are an organization that is looking to use ADP as a master record database with ADP as your payroll provider under it for multiple FEINs under it. Stay away! They cannot do it. We get glitches all the time, they do not have proper auditing procedures in place to prevent these glitches and don't have a plan in place to stop it. They have just instituted a new security feature that stops us from emailing directly with anyone at ADP we now have to use the ADP WFN portal functionality and in the 3 months the feature was live before they took away emailing, I went 2 months before any service request I put into it was touched and I was badgering and badgering for attention on them. ADP also will nickle and dime you for any direct connect feed you would like to set up to and from ADP to other systems, example: 401k providers, IT MS Active Directory, LMS systems They are always "upgrading/doing system maintenance" over a weekend. This is almost at least once per month. When they start the system maintenance it will be Friday at midnight going into Saturday, so if you have a second shift, supervisors will not be able to approve time cards that weekend. Every time they do it something unrelated will go down afterwards and it will take them all day to fix it. Since the window is on a weekend, that means Monday morning you are coming in to it broken which means payroll Monday is going to be an issue for you and what ever is down is almost always guaranteed to be related to a functionality that prevents you from processing your payroll. They will also deny for a while that the system isn't working right.

My experience with ADP has been pretty good. It is a user friendly system that makes my job a lot easier. I have some small gripes here and there but nothing you can't work through with your rep. I would reccommend overall.

This program is very easy to use and to train new agents or administrators on depending on how you have it configured and what you intend to do with it. We have used this for quite some time now and we are thrilled with the product.
