Please introduce your product and give a brief about your role within the organization.
Commence CRM is an “All in One CRM” solution designed for mid-size businesses. The product offers a suite of functionality that rivals enterprise products at a much lower cost.  It's perfect for those companies that require more functionality than is typically offered by traditional low-cost cookie-cutter CRM systems, but who do not need or want the high cost and complexity of enterprise-level solutions. In addition to managing accounts and contacts, leads, and sales – Commence offers marketing campaign management, help desk ticketing, a customer portal, and an integrated project management application. The company also offers an array of sales and marketing services.  I am the president of the firm and manage our USA and International operations.
What was the objective behind coming up with this software?
The initial goal was to provide an easy-to-use, single unified database for managing vital customer information and making it accessible throughout the organization. This grew into offering solutions for sales and lead management, marketing, help desk, and project management.
How is your software beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other software alternatives available in the market?
The software while quite robust, highly customizable, and winner of several awards is not what is driving our growth and success today.  It's more about the array of Marketing and Sales Enablement services we have coupled with the software. Many companies today lack the expertise to build and manage a sales methodology or structure and use modern resources i.e. digital marketing, SEO, and digital advertising to build brand recognition and generate more business opportunities.  Commence has an array of sales and marketing services we provide along with the software that has differentiated the company and our product.
What industries do you generally cater to? Which industries in general are highly benefiting by using your software?
Due to the customizability of our product, we are able to serve more than 20 different industries in a dozen countries around the world. Service-related industries, legal, manufacturing, and construction are several that we have a foothold in.
What are the key features of your software that makes it stand apart from your competitor products in the market?
Once again we are not a typical cookie-cutter CRM system. Lead scoring and ranking are unique, a built-in organization chart, a graphical analysis of your business for sales pipeline management, ticket management, and marketing is unique.  Extensive multi-level reporting is a unique feature along with a customer portal and an integrated project management application. Ability to customize more than just fields and reports is also a be differentiator.
What is the customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
Customer satisfaction is very high. Another strength of our offering.  See our website testimonials but remember we have been in business for 30 years so we are often viewed as a Trusted Name in the CRM industry or the safe bet.
Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what is the percentage of repeat customers that you have?
We are a SaaS-based offering with annual contracts that must be renewed every year so yes 90+ percent renew each year.
Does your software product provide any resource or knowledge section for its users? If yes, what kind of material is provided to your users to help them get acquainted with your product?
Yes, we offer a Knowledgebase and FAQ directly from within the product and a very active blog with tips and techniques for improving sales, marketing, and customer service.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
E-mail support is free during normal business hours and paid support is available 24/7.
Where do you see your product in the next 10 years?
Well, we are certainly paying attention to bleed-edge technologies and new solutions like AI and Big Data and utilize our API for integration to these types of services.  We appreciate that we cannot be all things to all people and that our customers would like to take advantage of some of the new solutions being introduced to the market.  10 years is difficult to speculate but I see a potential acquisition or two in the cards for the future.
