The software is very intuitive

Oliver Bravo, founder and CEO of Best Lawsuit Loans LLC. You can use any part of my response, all of it, or none of it. We use "When I Work" and we love it. I will first go over the pros, and then the cons. 

It has a free version and premium version, which is good. I usually try to avoid programs that are completely free with no premium version, because usually with free software, you end up paying one way or another, whether it's through annoying advertising or having your information sold. I don't know if you heard about all the free anti-virus programs which were found to sell their users' data. 

Anyway, "When I Work" is free for up to 75 users, and then they charge a reasonable fee for more users. It works on all platforms, so whether your employee is on a Windows laptop or an iPad, it will work. It has very good notification functionality, it notifies employees that are scheduled or rescheduled so nobody misses anything. 

It has a picture icon for each employee. The picture icon has saved me a few times because it helps to identify who you are managing. For example, if you have Johns in the office, you won't confuse them with each other. It also adds a human touch, so you feel closer to your employees. 

The customer service agents are professional and they know the program very well. When I had a question, I emailed them and I heard back within minutes. This was during a holiday and I was surprised that they got back to me so quickly. The software is very intuitive. When I first opened it, I didn't have to read the manual, I just started working with it as if I have used the software for years. The developers are constantly updating it to fit users' suggestions. I suggested a feature a while back and the developers made that feature available a few weeks later. 

It cannot integrate with payroll. I wish it could. That's really the only con that I can think of, for my purposes
