Zenefits

Zenefits complete screwed up our payroll. We contacted them numerous times over several months and they continually vowed to fix the issue. After a bit they simply stopped responding and could not be contacted. PLEASE NOTE THAT ZENEFITS DOES NOT HAS A PHONE NUMBER LISTED ON THEIR SITE. There's your first clue. We literally had to contact the owner with Facebook messaging to get a response. They finally did after more than 6 months and STILL SCREWED UP the payroll. It took more than 8 months to resolve. Avoid Zenefits at all costs!

Pros: Makes life easier, benefits, payroll and HR in a single workflow. Cons: Sometimes its too complex.

For a small business, there is not anyone cheaper than Zenefits and they have much greater integration and overall HR flow management than pretty much anyone I could find. When everything works, Zenefits is a beautiful thing.

Zenefits payroll comes with the kind of user-friendliness, unlike anything. The customer service is good, and their representatives are smart and always available to resolve our issues. The customization is better than other software and the system has helped in our tracking and compliance needs.

Pros: Getting these tasks off my plate allows me to reinforce the ways I truly add value — partnering with my company to effectively architect, scale and develop the growing and changing organization. Cons: One may presume the strong suit for a benefits broker would be handling benefits but, unfortunately, that has proved itself to be a con. They do send changes to carriers automatically, which is a time saving on my part. However, I was sold on the theory the Zenefits team would also provide support for employees and I was encouraged to provide the customer service contact information to them.

Zenefits has been an excellent way for us to incorporate something small technology since we have really useful and excellent tools. I am sure there are small things that still need to be modified, but it is nothing to avoid recommending the use of this product.

Zenfits never had good customer service and therefore businesses had to hire professionals to get help with unexpected issues. And since every business would require some help from Customer Support to deal with unwanted issues, so it is encouraging other customers to leave Zenfits and to switch to alternatives.

Zenefits implementation is a little bit slow at first; it usually takes about 4-6 weeks to set it up. There can be a bit of a backlog with payroll and benefits access as Zenefits sets up its customer accounts with benefit and payroll providers.
