What Users Like The Most

We were pleasantly surprised at how simple and efficient the process was with Angle2. In the past, I've had experiences with other design providers that involved missed deadlines, unreasonable budgets, and incomplete projects. However, with Angle2, everything went smoothly according to plan. They followed through on their promises regarding cost, timeline, and quality. We didn't have to constantly remind them to deliver on time, and they even exceeded our expectations in some areas. Overall, working with Angle2 was a very positive experience.
The Angle2 team is exceptional. They’re very aware of what they’re doing and how they’re doing it. Additionally, they offer valuable insights and create solutions that satisfy the UX for the users.
I really appreciate with the level of care and dedication displayed by every member of their team towards our project. Before suggesting designs, they made sure to thoroughly understand our domain and users by conducting research. The Angle2 team is dedicated and it shows in the quality of their work, which is not something that everyone takes the time to do.

What Users Like The Least

I have noticed a small area for improvement in the project's cost estimation. However, I understand that our redesign was extensive, with well over 100 screens on both desktop and mobile. Despite this, the team was proactive in addressing the issue when we realized we were over budget, they came up with a strategy that allowed us to complete the project at a fair price.
It might be unnecessary to have a project manager for every engagement, so perhaps it should be optional. Even though the PM doesn't take up much time or bill many hours, not everyone values having one.
Figma files probably may be better organized. The project is large and sometimes it can be difficult to keep track of everything.

The results have been fantastic!

Working with Angle2 was a breeze. We communicated through Slack and had weekly progress update calls. They were always quick to respond and transparent in reporting their hours worked. We were able to discuss this information with them before any invoicing or charges were issued. The transparency of the process created a trusting atmosphere, allowing us to focus on our work and deliver excellent results. Looking forward to working with the Angle2 team again

We engaged Angle2 to audit, polish up and redesign our web application UX & UI. We’re happy with all the work that has been delivered.

They have a good command of English so language hasn’t really been a barrier, this was a key consideration for us.

I was also impressed with a number of other things. First of all they were quick... they were responsive to Slack messages, and the pace at which work was completed was generally high. Second of all I was impressed with their UX/UI design skills. It didn’t take long for them to understand our product, and the UX/UI recommendations they made were all very thoughtful.

They were able to think as product owners and challenge us where necessary... this was very important to us.

Last but not least they were pleasant to work with, we established a good rapport with them very early on.

The only reason why I give them a 4/5 on 'Ability' is that we put a lot of effort into establishing workflows up front but there were still areas where the project management could be improved. I gave them this feedback and I'm happy to say that they took steps to rectify this.

Angle2 are reliable, courteous, and care about doing a good job

We have a large in-house team, however, we work with Angle2 for certain elements of our projects when we are at full capacity. This includes elements our UI design work, as well as front end HTML, CSS and ReactJS View coding.

Our client had an ongoing business in supplying laboratories with equipment and chemicals. The initial shopping experience was slow.

5 million products in a database made browsers lag, and the client’s order confirmation had an iteration of successive calls with the support team. As a result, the marketplace had a low conversion rate, and an excessive load on the support team.

Our team created from scratch the huge platform for a marketplace that covers different user roles, and operates globally, managing over 5 million products.

Redesign of an engaging writing game in close collaboration with users

Through our conversations with users and detailed feedback at every stage of the design process, we gained insights into users' motivations and needs that resulted in the perfect balance between the writing and gaming aspects of the product.

Many writers strive to write every day, but struggle to get it done. To help them find motivation, our client invented a game for writing.

The game has a large community of writers who have been using the system every day for several years. However, the system also had some usability issues which descreased the retention of new users. That’s why the client reached out to our agency to improve the user experience and help them attract more users.

Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the organization.

We are a UX design agency with the main focus on designing complex web applications. We design from scratch and redesign user interfaces in various fields: healthcare, HR, LMS, management systems. The agency is based on three key practical values: never sacrifice quality, always keep promises, communicate smoothly.

My role in the agency is finding and managing clients as well as preventing or resolving conflicts. In other words, my responsibility area is happy clients :)

What is the story behind starting this company?

My business partner and I previously worked together in an outsourcing company. It was (and actually is) a really good company but we believed that we can create our own agency with better client service and better processes inside the agency.

We wanted to work in a cheerful environment and make great things for our clients. And I am happy to say we have accomplished it! Of course, there’s also room for improvement but we can be already proud of our team and our portfolio.

What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?

We have an in-house team. But from time to time, we involve third-party vendors when we need a specific back-end tech stack.

What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?

Most of our clients come to us with Healthcare, HR, LMS, or management web applications. Yes, our customers are repetitive, the ratio about 50%. It could have been higher if all our clients had multiple projects. Actually, we have been working with clients for years. Our first client is still with us!

Please share some of the services that you offer for which clients approach you the most for?

Design of web applications: from UX research to front-end code.
Redesign of web applications: from UX audit to a new design.
Design management. It’s a crucial service when a client has a huge system.

What is your customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?

According to some review platforms, we have a 95-100% client satisfaction rate. It has been the master concern for us from the beginning. For this purpose, we developed our values and made them practical. Every single member of our team shares these values and this, we believe, makes our team comfortable to work with.

What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?

We are always in touch. So clients can contact us with any task or problem and be sure that they will be heard and the task will be completed in agreed terms. We invite most of the clients in our Slack workplace and come to their own place (Slack or MS teams).

What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)

We prefer fixed budgets with Pay per Milestone. Sometimes, however, we can agree on T&M contracts (it’s about 10% of all contracts)

Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?

Quality defines cost. If we can't provide a customer with a high-quality solution within their budget, we politely refuse to take their project. Our minimal budget was about $4,000 for the design (without front-end).

What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2020?

$10,000 — 50,000. It’s hard to say since we have ongoing projects with big annual budgets.
