Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the organization.
BrandLoom is one of India's most sought-after digital marketing and branding agencies. We are the only ROI-focused agency, and we look at building brands that are not just profitable but are also sustainable in the long run. BrandLoom caters to clients across healthcare, wellness, devotion, decoration, education, agriculture, gaming, F&B, IT, apparel, and more. We work with both Indian and international brands- and have worked with some of the most well-known names in the world.
Being the CEO of BrandLoom, my primary role is to set the direction for the company and guide my team. I help my team set down policies, identify business opportunities, set internal processes and decide on operational approaches that are essential to the running of the business and ensuring smooth deliveries,
What is the story behind starting this company?
After spending almost two decades in marketing- from being a marketer to leading operations, I decided to strike out on my own in 2015. I have worked previously with Philips, Bausch & Lomb, Hanes, Invista, and Opple- and the insights I gained there gave me the confidence to pursue my vision.
I wanted to serve clients independently and offer unique solutions. After a few initial hiccups, I can proudly say that today I have a great team with me- and the journey has been enriching. However, we are just starting, and I know we have so much more to do.
What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We have in-house capabilities for all our core services- content writing, designing, video-making, SEO, website development, brand-building, brand designing, social media marketing, or business consulting.
How does your company differentiate itself from the competition?
Firstly, we follow a unique branding-ecommerce approach when building up a brand. Instead of doing piecemeal work- we focus on building entire digital and brand ecosystems. Over time, these ecosystems become self-sustaining.
Secondly- we prioritise ROI. We believe that if brands want to be profitable, they have to be sustainable. If they cannot get good returns on their investment, they will burn through their resources quickly. Being a start-up, we understand how difficult it is for companies to prosper- so we create tailor-made solutions that ensure a brand’s long-term survival.
And last but not least- we deliver RESULTS. We always give our clients what we promise them- and we do it on time.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?
We have worked with clients from across the spectrum- healthcare, HR, education, agriculture, automotive, F&B, apparel, beauty, betting, home services, and more.
A lot of clients are repeat customers.
More than 50% of our clients are permanent or repeat customers.

What is your customer satisfaction rate according you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer's needs and requirements?
We have a high customer satisfaction rate.
To ensure that our clients are satisfied, we always prioritize them. We deliver our solutions on time and always take data-backed decisions. BrandLoom is always honest and transparent with its clients- because we want them to prosper. We tell them what methods will give them the best ROI and follow strictly white-hat tactics in executing our projects.
Often, what the client NEEDS is very different from what they WANT- and we have to ensure that we give them our honest opinion. We ensure they have all the facts laid out in front of them before they make a decision.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
We follow up with them regularly and send them monthly reports, which helps them stay on top of what we are doing for their brands. Tracking is essential for the client and helps us stay on track for what we want to achieve for them. Based on what we see in our analytics- we tweak our strategy and implement changes fast.
Lastly, we always tend to what our clients need- and deal with it on an urgent basis.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions, etc.)
We have a pay-per-feature structure in place- and have a monthly billing cycle for regular clients.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
Well, for us every project matters. It is important for us to delight a user with our services. As an example, we helped a temple trust get their payment gateway up for free. On the other side we helped a MNC automotive company increase their brand equity over a multi-million dollar project.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2020?
In 2020, the minimum price for a small project was just US$200/month. And another project that we did on higher side was worth US$250k.
Where do you see your company in the next 10 years?
BrandLoom is growing- and in the near term, we are expanding our business in Mumbai. We are also ramping up our video production capabilities- because we see an increasing demand for videos across sectors.
We are also acquiring more international clients- and are working at expanding our footprint abroad. We are set to debut in UK and USA soon- and we want to expand our horizons further.
