Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the organization.
I am representing Cloudester Software LLC, a global IT services company with offices in New York and India. We have been in this business for 10+ years now and have executed projects for multiple clients across the globe. Our retention rate is high allowing us to retain clients for a long-term partnership with business relationships of 5+ years. Our expertise is in custom software development for businesses and digital transformation. We have worked on highly regulated and compliance-heavy systems for huge pharma companies and developed our very own clinical trial management system validated by GCP, 21 CFR, and audited by USFDA at our client locations.
What is the story behind starting this company?
We wanted to build a company that truly helps our customers by leveraging technology to improve efficiency and generate more and more revenue while keeping the focus on their core business. Our success is measured by the return on investment our clients reap and we assure complete transparency for long-term success. We strive to become a partner for our clients rather than just another vendor.
What are your company’s business model–in house team or thirdparty vendors/ outsourcing?
All our team is in-house as it ensures client data confidentiality and helps us to fully enforce the process we have designed for project execution.
How does your company differentiate itself from the competition?
Many companies rely on sub-contractors to execute which results in serious data breaches at times. Having a full team in-house helps us to avoid this. We are also very transparent with the client and do not over-promise and under-deliver. We come clear about what we can do and don’t make any false promises just to close the project. We measure our success by the success of our clients.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?
We are focussed on business applications and primary industries including healthcare, clinical trials, oil and gas transportation, eCommerce & inventory solutions. Most of our clients have been with us for 3 years or more and we always lean towards long-term engagement with our clients.
Please share some of the services that you offer for which clients approach you the most for?
Custom software consulting/development & Mobile app development.
What is your customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
Since we focus on a long-term engagement there are ups and downs in the project, but overall all of our clients have achieved good growth and the software piece was a key reason for the same. We do not blindly implement their solution but understand the client’s business objectives first and then come up with a solution that is within their budget and timeline.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
We use Slack for communication where the client and our team are all present in one channel to allow for transparent and seamless communication. We also use email and the Freshdesk support desk for tickets for some of our consumer-based projects.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
We bill in a time and materials fashion where we bill the client every month. This gives the client flexibility to ramp up development or slow it down based on their needs and allows them to allocate budgets within their business as needed.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
As we strive to take long-term projects our ideal minimum budget would be 25,000 USD.
Where do you see your company in the next 10 years?
We are currently exploring new technologies and trying to get our clients to adopt them as well. Mainly migrating to serverless infrastructure and exploring projects in AI and metaverse.
