Competenza Innovare is one of the trustworthy and reputed company in the industry and known for providing top-notch IT services like mobile app development, web/software development, IoT Solutions, digital marketing and IT consulting services. Founded in the year 2016, having registered offices in India and United States.

What was the idea behind starting this organization?
Competenza Innovare was started with idea to bridge the void in the way the company approach services. We just don’t talk but deliver the right solutions that help our client in achieving better result than competitors. For a long time, we have been helping startups, mid-size and large organizations of different scales and structures to improve their existing IT strategies and implementing the latest strategies to bring remarkable results.
What is your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We don’t believe in outsourcing. Our in-house team consists of talented engineers, analysts, project managers, designers, and developers with a year of expertise in the relevant fields. The passionate team working with us is dedicated to developing high-end applications to meet the unique needs of the start-ups, middle size and large enterprises.
How is your business model beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other companies' models?
Our primary motive is to know client’s ideas and expectation. We do detailed market analysis and suggest our clients right tactics based on market research. We follow agile methodologies to work collaboratively with the clients which always help the client to understand how things are going on and where they need to focus to create a strategy. Driven by a common goal, our team works towards the success of every business.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive?
We cater to all the industries in general, but education, healthcare, hospitality and travel, on-demand solutions, restaurants, bank, insurance and finance are our focus area. Our maximum businesses are from our existing customers and their referrals. We have around 75% repetitive clients, and we always believe in making long-term business relationships with our customers.

The first thing that our organisation does is to seek complete information about the client’s requirements. For that, our team will get in touch with client in person or via phone, email & chat. We communicate with our clients and try to know their ideas and expectations related to project development. We design a prototype and seek feedback from our clients to improve it as per their business needs and market requirements.
After that, we determine the timeframe of project. Defining the time frame requires focus on many aspects like the targeted audiences, major focus areas, functionalities needed, third-party integration required, design views, etc.

How much effort in terms of time goes into developing the front end and back end of a web app?
Almost everybody perceives the app from its face - the UI and front end. However, the backend plays the crucial part in maintaining a top-notch user experience and how front end presents the information. Around 30 percent of the total development time goes to the back-end, while the front-end requires around 70 percent of the development efforts.
What are the key parameters to be considered before selecting the right platform for a web application?
The key parameters include the target audience, the market share, future ready, what kind of third-party integrations does your project require, any platform-specific UI if needed, the budget and the time frame.
Which platform and technologies do you prefer to use in development of your web apps?
We work on wide array of technologies including .NET framework, PHP framework, Javascript frameworks (Angular, React, Vue etc), open source technologies. The selection of technologies depends upon client requirements and project type.
Do you offer website design templates or customised website design, and do you have a responsive website design?
We understand UI/UX is face of any application. We suggest for customized website design. At Competenza, every design is created from scratch. We have a very talented UI/UX team who use their skills to make pixel-perfect design as per customer’s business needs.
Which Content Management System do you prefer to use (Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal etc)?
We use of all the content management systems, depending upon the type of project. The selection of a specific CMS technology depends upon the project requirement. If it’s a simple blog or website, WordPress is used. But if the project requires great customization in CMS, we look for Drupal. And for something in between that has an easier learning curve, Joomla is a perfect choice.
Do you provide website maintenance services?
We provide free maintenance service to our client for one year. After that, clients may choose a maintenance bucket that will allow their website to run smoothly.
What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of a web application?
The cost of any application depends on size of the project and the efforts required to complete it. Our skilled team first understand client requirement and do analysis. We always try to give cost optimized solution to our clients. If client want to make an MVP, we suggest that which feature they should include so that they can launch their app in minimal cost.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
When it comes to payment structure, we are flexible with it. But mostly we have 3 major structures; Fixed cost (Pay per feature, Pay per milestone), Monthly (Fixed Monthly Payment for each developer hired) & Time & Material (Payment as per features and milestone)

We undertake project meeting our budget requirements. Our minimum budget requirement is $5000.
