After the successful launch of their token vesting portal, the client team entrusted Ekotek with another critical project in their ecosystem: an exclusive NFT marketplace for their player community.

With their upcoming release of the 10,000 NFT collection, aggregated marketplaces are just not enough. The client’s CEO remarked that a private NFT marketplace was necessary to fully display NFT properties, transact with its own token and facilitate secondary sales.

The Solutions

For the web3 game creators to list the NFT collection up for sale, and for game players to purchase with their in-game tokens, we integrated two similar crypto wallets from the game: MetaMask and Wallet Connect then configured AOG as the exclusive payment method.

As each NFT possesses its own attributes such as Mythology, Level, and Class, the team decided to go with a simple but effective filter so that users can quickly sort through items on the homepage or NFT storage to find what they need. Users can then click on an NFT to explore more information including description, attributes, chain information, current listing, and recent activities, then make the purchase.

Most importantly, every page has a switch button for users to view listings on the whole marketplace or just their own, which we believed is a huge convenience in the user experience.

Throughout the development process, we made sure that the site’s look and feel stay consistent with the brand. And in just under 2 months, the feature-rich NFT marketplace was developed, tested, and officially launched!

Since the official release in April 2022, the game’s NFT marketplace has powered more than 10,000 transactions, raking in a total volume of 4M AOG tokens (equivalent to $560,000) within 6 months.

In real estate, especially the high-end segment, KYC is a crucial process to verify sellers, buyers, and the financials involved. The client initially employed the traditional method that requires applicants to send their forms and documents via post. Even though it guarantees security, it poses a tedious and time-consuming task for all parties involved.

To modernize the KYC process while upholding the security standards, the client team decided to develop their own electronic KYC (eKYC) and asked for assistance from Ekotek.

The Solutions

A compact team of 5 Ekotek specialists was entrusted with the project. To make sure every document type and approval requirement is accounted for, our Business Analyst worked closely with the client team to sample and categorize applications. Afterwards came UX/UI design and website system development, with Glocaly kept updated weekly on the progress.

We defined the prominent features of the eKYC including:

The client contacted Ekotek to envision their goal: migrating the entire seminar system onto Line. Admins should be able to create, schedule and publish seminars with full details, while users can receive notifications and reminders, sign up for their preferred seminars and watch them live. 
Aside from the main features, the team also expressed their intention of enhancing the in-app experience and gaining insights on seminar performance as well as user usage. Time is also a matter we need to take into consideration, as the integration is expected to launch within 3 months.

This challenge was tackled by our full-cycle web development team from proposal, and design to production. Communication was kept close to the client with weekly reports and bi-monthly demos.  
For admins to freely set up seminars and seamlessly manage users, we incorporated the following features:

The client asked for an AI development project with a face reading application, selection and user-friendly interface. The platform tracked the facial details of users, processing, then returned results and recommended skincare products to users.

Artificial Intelligence specialists with 10 years of expertise were called in for the project. Ekotek combined AI with mobile app development technologies to build the beauty AI app for both web and mobile versions.
The project included the AI application in facial recognition and analysis with live (direct phones camera) and static (picture) inputs. The results then got transformed into voiceover for the beauty-counter experience.
Users would also receive a detailed report with a visualized graph and point-rating system showing their current skin condition. They can then search and get product recommendations from their skin data on the app.

With 10,000 downloads upon release, the beauty app is gaining traction as a dedicated solution for self-checking and improving skin problems. The skin evaluation app becomes available for App Store and Google Play after 5 months of development.

We satisfy our client’s multi-chain vision with the two most popular blockchain networks Bitcoin, Ethereum, and the client's private chain. The wallet can hold Bitcoin (BTC), Ether(ETH), ValueCoin (FVC), and Genesis (GOD), making it easier for users to manage and transfer multiple cryptocurrencies. 

Users can send out public wallet addresses with a QR code created on-site and make transactions by scanning them, rendering crypto transactions quick, easy, and secure. By supporting English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean languages, the wallet is highly user-friendly for the strategic user base that our client is targeting.

The Results

Within 2 months, Ekotek has helped our client build a top-notch crypto wallet with market-demanding features instead of 4 months as planned. 

The Android and iOS versions of the wallet are launched subsequently and are steadily gaining traction within the crypto-user community from both platforms.
