CROSSTECH is a project building the world's largest autonomous decentralized blockchain infrastructure, CROSS Value Chain, and ecosystem. They approached Ekoios intending to develop a comprehensive blockchain explorer, CVCscan.

The challenges

There are many blockchain explorers and each one serves a different blockchain. For the CROSS Value Chain (CVC) of CROSSTECH, they need to build a seamless blockchain explorer which makes it easier for users to access information on the blockchain and inspect transaction and block details.   

Since Ekoios has experience developing private chains and working with numerous blockchain explorers, CROSSTECH partnered with us for an efficient blockchain explorer called CVCscan.

The solutions

Ekoios offered a comprehensive range of solutions to address the challenges faced in developing CVCscan. We provided UI/UX design services, ensuring a user-friendly interface for smooth exploration of blockchain data. Ekoios also handled both front-end and back-end development. The project operated in an Agile development, with Ekoios actively supporting the client in defining requirements, developing the product, and overseeing the testing and deployment stages. The Challenges
Competition is fierce in the cryptocurrency DeFi market, particularly trading – there are nearly 600 exchange platforms worldwide at the start of 2023!

It is indeed a challenge for new platforms to gain awareness, trust, and ultimately transactions from the trader community.

That’s why a Japan-based DeFi startup with a freshly launched centralized exchange came to Ekoios for support: they need an innovative solution to significantly lift the platform liquidity pool, while also facilitating better trading experiences.

The Solutions
Upon receiving the request, our team of finance and blockchain specialists carefully researched the industry domain, and analyzed the platform to propose the development of a market-making bot. The bot will sync orders from the centralized exchange’s order book, analyze them then execute natural orders between accounts that belong to the platform. Orders placed by the bot will then be processed by the platform and appeared in the live order book.

Management-wise, admins can easily monitor the order book, make quick calculations and customize the algorithm for order placement according to demand. Additionally, parameters for abnormal activities, such as price fluctuation and high-value transactions, can be set so that admins can be notified every time such an event occurs

The Results
The bot was agilely prototyped and built in just 2 months, followed by continuous tracking & optimization. After deployment, the crypto exchange recorded an over 300% increase in liquidity and transactions, which fueled organic growth in traffic and registered users to the site.

This was no small task as the ecosystem itself was that of a full-fledged one consisting of an NFT game, an NFT marketplace, a decentralized exchange, and an NFT yield farm.

As one of the leading international logistics companies, efficiency is everything. The company was in need of a way to improve the efficiency of its ACI (Advanced Cargo Information System) with better user experience, performance, and overall frictionless processing of goods because any delay in processing could mean a negative influence on customer satisfaction.

• The Challenges

The old, outdated cargo information system called for an overhaul because it was, according to the company, starting to affect their ability to scale up as well as their day-to-day operations. Looking up cargo information was not intuitive, and the software had a dated, unintuitive UI that discouraged customers from making queries.

And on top of it, cargo information was not updated in real-time as synchronization between inventories and warehouses was an issue.

After collecting requirements from our clients and discussing the best way forward, it was clear that a full system migration was the solution – however, it wasn’t an easy undertaking. Their cargo database alone consisted of hundreds of thousands of entries, and migrating them safely over to a new system was a time-consuming and challenging task.

In terms of user experience, we also made sure that the new system provides a vastly better user experience that is both intuitive and engaging.

To safely migrate the system, Ekoios Technology co-worked with a Japan-based IT solution provider to figure out the best way to move the legacy system to the new one.

Our client ran several gold mines in Myanmar and wanted to adopt a crypto-application to liquidate their gold production. In essence, they required us to convert real gold to digital assets – Myanmar Gold Coin (MGC), on the blockchain.

Ekoios tackled the project with our team of experts in business, development, and testing. The team chose Ethereum, ERC20, NodeJS, and PHP as the primary tech used for this cryptocurrency project.

We also developed the maintenance and management of gold-converted-MGC by blockchain technology.

Information regarding the mining process would be loaded and recorded on the blockchain, lending the coin credibility with uninterrupted data.

A hardware wallet was also part of the development project to help users store, retrieve, and trade their MGCs.

The Challenges
There has been a massive surge in NFT games ever since Axie Infinity made it big, but not every game is created to be sustainable. Many are poorly designed in both gameplay and tokenomics, with players swarming in and companies steering games only for short-term profits. On top of that are the high entry and gas fees, which may halt traditional game players to try out the game. 

The Solutions

With a mission to transform the existing Web3 Game model with freemium, recreation, and sustainability, the Monsterra and Ekoios teams have gone through extensive research and brainstorming to come up with the following solutions:

The Results

Ekoios have been working with the Monsterra team since the beginning of the project as a core partner. With a tight roadmap ahead, we rushed to develop the game firstly on the BNB chain, along with primary features such as cross-chain bridge and NFT marketplace. The bridge to exchange tokens between BNB, Terra and Avalanche was completed in just one month, followed by the NFT marketplace that supports large-scale P2P trading in BNB, USDT, and BUSD. At the time we’re writing this article, the project is well on its way to the official launch in Q3, 2022!

The Challenges

After the successful launch of their token vesting portal, the Age of Gods team entrusted Ekoios with another critical project in their ecosystem: an exclusive NFT marketplace for their player community.

With their upcoming release of the 10,000 God NFT collection, aggregated marketplaces are just not enough. Nick van der Kolk, the Age of God’s CEO, remarked that a private NFT marketplace was necessary to fully display NFT properties, transact with its own AOG token and facilitate secondary sales.

The Solutions

For the game creators to list the NFT collection up for sale, and for game players to purchase with their AOG tokens, we integrated two similar crypto wallets from the game: MetaMask and Wallet Connect, then configured AOG as the exclusive payment method.

As each NFT possesses its own attributes such as Mythology, Level and Class, the team decided to go with a simple but effective filter so that users can quickly sort through items on the homepage or NFT storage to find what they need. Users can then click on an NFT to explore more information including description, attributes, chain information, current listing, recent activities, then make the purchase. Most importantly, every page has a switch button for users to view listings on the whole marketplace or just their own, which we believed is a huge convenience in the user experience.

The Results

Since the official release in April 2022, the Age of Gods’ NFT marketplace has powered more than 10,000 transactions, raking in a total volume of 4M AOG tokens (equivalent to $560,000) within 6 months. 

Extremely pleased with the outcome, Nick commented that the final product was “fast, reliable, affordable, and most importantly, secured.” And our collaboration definitely won’t stop here, as the Age of Gods community is rapidly growing with new gameplay and features.

The Challenges

Nick approached us that he needed Ekoios to “build a battle-proven vesting solution” that would help their Initial DEX Offering. He emphasized that they wanted to provide their investors with the peace of mind that tokens are being distributed fairly and on time.

The Solutions

First, Ekoios built the Age of Gods’ vesting portal in a way that it would fit into their website. That is, we customize the background, font type, font size, color choice, and paper-like button outlooks to be consistent with their branding.

Secondly, we uploaded the database of the vested members into the smart contract. We put a security check here such that anyone who was not vested cannot connect his or her wallet.

The Results

When we deployed the vesting portal within a week. It helped Age of Gods to manage 48 million tokens and 10,000 wallets with a transaction throughput of 3 to 5 seconds.

Using advanced AI and AR/VR technologies, the platform is innovating how people experience and purchase cross-border properties. As a Glocaly member, users can enjoy exclusive deals in housing, lands and hotels, along with other membership perks.

The Challenges

In real estate, especially the high-end segment, KYC is a crucial process to verify sellers, buyers, and the financials involved. Glocaly initially employed the traditional method that requires applicants to send their forms and documents via post. Even though it guarantees security, it poses a tedious and time-consuming task for all parties involved.

To modernize the KYC process while upholding the security standards, the Glocaly team decided to develop their own electronic KYC (eKYC) and asked for assistance from Ekoios.

The Solutions

A compact team of 5 Ekoios specialists was entrusted with the project. To make sure every document type and approval requirement is accounted for, our Business Analyst worked closely with the Glocaly team to sample and categorize applications. Afterward came UX/UI design and system development, with Glocaly kept updated weekly on the progress.

Oddiyana Ventures is an investment firm focused on funding innovations in the decentralization movement in the crypto space. After raising $46.49M for crypto projects with various applications, they noticed a problem as the investment field was not accommodating the ever-growing sector of low-capital investors.

Hence, they decided to incubate the Vulture Peak to empower everyone to be an early backer. Vulture Peak is a community-driven launchpad and investment fund focusing on blockchain games, metaverse, DeFi, NFTs.

The Challenges

Mr. Rabten – the project advisor, approached Ekoios as he was impressed by our portfolio in blockchain and crypto development. He laid down the overall process of the launchpad with a strong focus on removing investment barriers.

• Firstly, the launchpad must operate on the consensus of first-come-first-serve (FCFS) guaranteed allocations for all investors.
• Secondly, all configurations and technical requirements must be simplified for both project owners and investors.
• Last but not least, Vulture Peak was expected to be deployed within 1 month only.

The Solutions

Based on the client’s requirements, our Delivery team developed and added modifications for the solution. These customizations gave Vulture Peak an edge compared to other launchpads of the same niche: simplifying white-list conditions, no staking requirements, and no tier system.

The launchpad was also equipped with IDO, staking, farming, and vesting options for investors to register, stake/unstake, and quickly claim tokens. Admins also had complete control over each funding process to create, view, edit, and delete transactions.

As one of the solutions, L-ever is a service that discovers, compiles and notifies subscribers about upcoming seminars of their interests. Used to communicate via two traditional channels: website and e-mail, the team decided to expand to Line – the most popular messaging app in Japan with over 84 million users.

The Challenges

Recommended by a mutual partner, the L-ever team contacted Ekoios to envision their goal: migrating the entire seminar system onto Line. Admins should be able to create, schedule and publish seminars with full details, while users can receive notifications and reminders, sign up for their preferred seminars and watch them live. 

The Solutions

This challenge was tackled by our full-cycle development team from proposal, design to production. Communication was kept close to the client with weekly reports and bi-monthly demos.  

For admins to freely set up seminars and seamlessly manage users, we incorporated the following features:

With established trust from previous collaborations, Mr. Hirao – Founder of Blockchain Japan came to us with the project outlining Blockchain Japan and their client’s NFT vision.

The Solutions

Since delivery time is one of the project’s highest priorities, Ekoios proposed a project timeline with a committed deadline for each stage.

Next, we defined user roles and documented core functions, framework and tech used. As requested, AddValue was built on private chain Moneta and allowed users to mint NFT without paying gas fee.

Critical features that brought an edge for AddValue as a beginner-friendly NFT marketplace were also incorporated. Admins can mint NFT at ease and put them on sales with 2 options: instant sale and auction to better profit from their creatives.

AddValue will be one of the few NFT marketplaces that allow both crypto and fiat payment with Stripe integration. Users can buy NFT without cryptocurrencies and store NFT with an on-site wallet created with AddValue.

Noticing the benefits of blockchain adaptation for their business, our clients approached and trusted us with their vision for improving their operation. The request contained critical requirements to ensure a travel booking platform that is transparent, secure, user-friendly, with crypto payment and reward points allowed.

Ekoios adhered to this cross-device project with our experts in web-based, mobile applications and blockchain. We used Agile as the core project management to ensure seamless collaboration in developing and testing.

The Results

Travala has become the leading booking site with blockchain applications. A new payment method and loyalty program using tokens are built into Travala. In addition, Ekoios ran Travala’s ICO in the NEO platform and developed their wallet. The Decentralized Travel Booking Platform implementation helped raise $2 million in funding for our client.

A hybrid AI application for the beauty industry specialized in skin evaluation and recommendation.

The Challenges

The client asked for an AI development project with a face reading application, selection and user-friendly interface. The platform tracked the facial details of users, processing, then returned results and recommended skincare products to users.

The Solutions

Artificial Intelligence specialists with 10 years of expertise were called in for the project. Ekoios combined AI with mobile development technologies to build Viewty for both web and mobile versions.

The project included the AI application in facial recognition and analysis with live (direct phone’s camera) and static (picture) inputs. The results then got transformed to voiceover for the beauty-counter experience.

Users would also receive a detailed report with a visualized graph and point-rating system showing their current skin condition. They then can search and get product recommendations from their skin data on the app.

Our client, DLEX, is a Japanese technology company providing blockchain, IoT, and AI development services. DLEX’s vision is to transform startups’ or corporations’ vision into products and help them to succeed in digital transformation through a network of highly skilled developers in Japan and around the world.

The Challenges

Knowing that the online streaming industry is in the prime of its life, DLEX wants to build a next-gen live streaming platform for Japan market, assist businesses in digitalizing their operation system, and broadcasting content on the streaming service. With the reputation and proven success in mobile app development services, particularly in Japan, Ekoios was selected as a development partner to help DLEX create a premium experience that is completely different from conventional online streaming applications.

The Solutions

After determining the client’s specific needs and vision for the outcome, both would agree to develop a live streaming application with a new mechanism from existing apps. The app called Fammi Live was created with a point consumption system that allows viewers to watch the live video from creators by consuming points in 1-minute increments. It is also a platform where influencers such as celebrities, idols, singers, gymnastics, etc. interact with their fans through live streaming and earn money through online gifts and subscriptions.

The Results

After 4 months of development as planned, we have created the Fammi Live mobile application, which is now available on the app stores, with impressive outcomes that meet the client’s requirements.

• New mechanism system live-streaming service: Unlike other live-streaming apps, Fammi Live uses a per-minute point-consumption live-streaming system.
• Gifting feature: Viewers can send gift items (for a fee) to the creators to get a chance to talk to them.
• Various content supported: There is a wide range of content categories are supported including idol, actor, singer, beauty, fashion, gourmet, education, game, sport, even fortune-telling, and many more.
• Two-way conversation space: The direct two-way conversation with celebrities, singers, etc., allows viewers to get exclusive information in a space only for the content creators and fans.
• The number of views is hidden: Viewers cannot see the number of views on the live stream. We wanted to make it such a simple content delivery service, if you are a fan of the creator, you can enter the room, otherwise, you cannot.

The client wants to develop a multi-chain wallet that can access decentralized applications across multiple networks. The wallet must have high security and scalability satisfying all class-leading criteria of the blockchain wallet.  

The Solutions

After organizing workshops to identify concretely our client’s requests and their vision for the product, Ekoios decided to develop the multichain VC wallet which complies with the rigorous CCSS standard (the cryptocurrency security standard). 

We satisfy our client’s multi-chain vision with the two most popular blockchain networks Bitcoin, Ethereum, and client private chain BitcoinVALUE. The wallet can hold Bitcoin (BTC), Ether(ETH), ValueCoin (FVC), and Genesis (GOD) making it easier for users to manage and transfer multiple cryptocurrencies. 

The Results

Within 2 months, Ekoios has helped our client to build a top-notch crypto wallet with market-demanding features instead of 4 months as planned. 

The Android and iOS versions of the wallet are launched subsequently and steadily gaining traction within the crypto-user community from both platforms.

Ekoios’s first success case is building a minting system for the Starry Trainee project created by NFT Art & Assets.

In the process of building the Starry Trainee project, NFT Art & Assets faced the challenge of building one of the core functions – a system that is capable of minting 10,000 NFTs.

As a close and valued client of Ekoios, NFT Art & Assets’ Representative Director Akihisa Ishida has placed high confidence in our work quality and cooperated with us to develop the minting system for its Starry Trainee project.

• The Solutions

After determining the client’s specific needs, we have designed a specialized minting system for this 10,000 NFTs project using three main technologies: service server API, service worker, and service IPFS.

Furthermore, our system can help generate 6 random images automatically and users can select and mint the character they want as NFT.

• The Results

Owing to Ekoios’s extensive knowledge and experience in developing and delivering white-label blockchain solutions, we have managed to deploy a minting system that can generate a 10,000 NFTs collection within 1 month only.

Integrated with perfectly functional systems and technology, the Starry Trainee project is now on air and ready for users to buy the unique and exciting NFTs. At the price of 0.05 ETH per trainee NFT, Ekoios has contributed to helping NFT Art & Assets launch a project with a total value of 500 ETH, which is over 1.6 million USD.
