Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the company?
Esferasoft Solutions is the fastest growing digital agency in India that offers high quality IT services. It includes mobile application development, progressive web applications, website development, artificial intelligence solutions, and digital branding. Being the founder of Esferasoft Solutions, I feel privileged to have run the company for more than 12 years. We have a decade of experience in providing enriched technology solutions and continue to do so in the near future.
What was the idea behind starting this organization?
The IT and Technology industry is constantly rising for many years and this is what motivated me to introduce Esferasoft Solutions. I started my career as a programmer and I enjoyed doing coding for my clients. However, with the increased number of work requirements, I took one step forward and made a team of 5 employees in 2007. I can proudly say that now we have more than 100+ IT professionals working for Esferasoft Solutions.
What are your company’s business model In-house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We have a full-time in-house team working in different segments like the mobile app, artificial intelligence, digital branding, and web development. However, sometimes due to more workload, we prefer to go with remote resources, to whom we pay a weekly or biweekly basis, based on the estimated hours given by them.
How is your business model beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other companies' models?
We have our teams available 24x7 available for our clients. Our project managers and coordinators make sure to be in constant contact with our clients so that we can develop solutions that meet their requirements.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?
We extend our services to industries like healthcare, education, eCommerce, sports, media and publishing, hospitality, food, and beverages, etc.
40% of our clients are repetitive as they find our services as best in quality and affordable for them.
How much effort in terms of time goes into developing the front end and back end of a mobile app?
I don’t think that there is any specific answer to this question. Development time and efforts of front end and back end of mobile applications totally depend upon the required functionalities and apps complexities.
What are the key parameters to be considered before selecting the right platform for a mobile application?
I think the demand and user base of any app is the primary parameters of choosing the right platform. Whenever we give mobile app consultation, we ask about the required features and the target demographics, and based on that we suggest the best fit for their business.
Which platform do you suggest your clients to begin with when they approach you with an idea (Android or iOS) and why?
Well, it totally depends upon their requirements and the user base of the app. Android and iOS, both share almost the same count of the audience, but what distinguishes them from others is the development cost and this is what helps us while suggesting the app platform.
Android or iOS, Native or Hybrid — which platform is best to use to build your app? What are your recommendations?
The native mobile application development is generally costlier than hybrid application development. While consulting our prospects for mobile development, we prefer to be very precise about this so that they are aware of it. Both the platforms are good, competitive, and popular among people.
What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of a mobile application?
We consider factors like;

● Resource Expertise

What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
We have different engagement models including Fixed price, hourly basis, and dedicated resources. For fixed and dedicated resources, we work on a milestone basis which is followed by an upfront payment. After that, payment is released based on the milestone achieved. Hourly resources work on daily billing and this is how we manage the payment structure.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
Yes, definitely, I think basic budget criteria are developed based on the cost of resources to be utilized for the same. If you don’t work on at least minimum budget requirements then there is no benefit.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2019?
The minimum project budget was around 1000 USD and the maximum was 20,000 USD.
Which business model do you suggest to your clients enabling them to generate revenue from mobile applications? Why?
We have closely worked with many businesses and realized that MVP worked best for them. The Minimum Viable Product allows businesses to understand market behavior and trends. Based on the user response, they can further make plans for big investments.
