Goldfish Code was the right partner for building Whurligig—an iOS beta app that turns songs + lyrics into mixed-media, AI-assisted music/lyric videos. Goldfish Code developed my first software that I eventually sold. I went back to them to develop my latest project called Inventoryy. We established another partnership based on their past performance.

The Good: We really enjoy working with Goldfish. Their technical product is truly outstanding. Any concerns you have about getting junk code should be put to rest with this review. You won't. Their owner is personable, caring, and technically thoughtful in terms of re-use and optimizations. Their Project Manager/Analysts are do a great job ferreting out requirements issues or conflicts prior to development which saves $$. Needs Help: UI/UX. They came out of the gate strong but as things grew more complex, they seemed to slow down and take longer to solidify a concept. Meeting timelines… there was not much communication when something was going to miss their deadline. No impact, but be aware. Bottom Line: BUY BUY BUY. With a true end-to-end UI/UX focus (or outside help on your end), these are the ONLY developers I’d want building my application. Overall: 4.5/5 experience and are continuing on with them.
