Executive Interview of Goodface Agency

CEO
Kindly share your feedback on how GoodFirms has been doing so far in increasing your visibility among potential clients.
GoodFirms is a great square for such ambitious companies like ours. It greatly helps us to be more visible and increases our presence in a competitive environment.
Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the organization.
Goodface is an expert design & development team. We were founded in 2016. Since that time we've created 80+ projects for startups & businesses from all over the world. They have international awards and are loved by a hundred thousand audience.
Our approach blends three key components: business analysis, design thinking, & technological know-how to achieve outstanding results.
Our approach blends three key components: business analysis, design thinking, & technological know-how to achieve outstanding results.
I’m the founder and CEO of the company. I look out for business growth and create Goodface’s vision. Our main goal is to turn product usage into the best experience through digital solutions.
What is the story behind starting this company?
I worked a lot in the field of marketing. While teaming up with various companies, I noticed a recurring trend that was prevalent among many of them. More often than not, the outward appearance didn't correspond to the quality level of the company's service or product. Basically, even a genius product can be presented in a lackluster way.
So, I got this crazy idea: Why not create a company that specializes in crafting top-notch visual brands for other businesses? I mean websites, design, and all the stuff that helps you connect with your audience.
We’ve been successfully making websites for different companies from completely different industries. Then we realized that we wanted to do more than just polish up the marketing side (website, design, etc.) We decided to dive headfirst into building digital products for our current clients, essentially becoming their business architects.
For the past few years, we’ve been concentrating on full-cycle product development. Here we completely solve everything from business analysis and planning to design and full-on digital product development.
What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We have an in-house team, including a few units and departments. They are the software development, web development, and UX/UI design departments.
Sometimes we we might bring in some outside specialists for narrow tasks, like 3D design or illustration. But mostly our workflow is based on in-house workers.
How does your company differentiate itself from the competition?
Speaking about the IT market, we are distinguished by powerful design expertise and product thinking, which means orientation on solving specific user problems through digital solutions. So, it isn’t just about coding and design, it’s all about creating the best experience for the end-users.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?
We're not limited to just one industry. We work in such domains: as finTech edTech eSports SaaS Mental health, and healthcare and we're not stopping there.
Eight out of ten of our clients come through word-of-mouth recommendations. We’ve been working with most of them for years.
Please share some of the services that you offer for which clients approach you the most for?
Most of our clients come to us for full-cycle product development, software development, web development, and also UX/UI design.
What is your customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
We conduct regular surveys about сlient's level of satisfaction, based on the NPS system. We are honest, attentive listeners. We always try to understand clients' fears and desires. Since we have detailed feedback we implement changes and improve our processes.
Also, at the end of every project, we receive reviews, that speak for themselves.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
After each project, we offer such kinds of support services:
- Growth support, (scale). When the main work on the project is done, but the project is still developing smoothly, then we allocate a small amount of time, developers, and designers per month to help the client systematically introduce new features or content. This is most relevant for those who are working on a blog or small features after the main release.
- Status support (maintenance). It’s a monthly package, and it includes our development team looking at the status of the project, updating the necessary plugins, and making sure that the project is up to date and that there are no force majeure events.
- Package support. Here we agree with the client that he can come up with a package of edits of a certain volume. We work on such a "patch" to implement a package of updates to a project, which is already ongoing.
It all depends on the type of the project. But we, of course, are all about long-term cooperation.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
We have a few formats of interaction. The first is Time & Material together with Scrum as the model of cooperation. That means payment for the completed sprint (two weeks) is based on the actual hours spent.
The second one is the Dedicated team. In such cases, the client has full access to the team and pays bills once a month.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
All cases are individual, a lot depends on the type of the project. But mostly the minimal requirement is about 10 thousand dollars.
Where do you see your company in the next 10 years?
Our working field is very dynamic, so there are plenty of ways for the company's growth. But what I know for sure, is that we're gonna keep churning out tons of new products for our clients that'll have become landmarks, raking in those international awards, and boasting millions of satisfied users with the best experience.
In addition, we’ll definitely launch some top-notch products partnering with our clients.
