Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the company?

Our company is not only a software development company, but it also provides training in advance technologies to corporate clients and provides custom development services.

As CEO of the company, I am responsible for the short term and long term goals of my organization.
What was the idea behind starting this organization?
GOTESO™ was developed to cater to the needs of on-demand products and services. In 2013, we felt many business markets were growing exponentially with the help of smartphones and web apps. Seeking a wide range of business opportunities, we planned to start as a service company.
What is your company’s business model–in-house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
GOTESO™ has a team of 30+ experts! These experts include designers, analysts, developers, software testers, sales executives, etc. Our team is strong and can handle the ‘heavy lifting’ of a client’s demands. We have never felt the need to outsource.
How is your business model beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other companies' models?
GOTESO™ already have numerous products for the on-demand economy. Thus we can deliver fast and at competitively priced quotes. Compared to other companies, we do not need to redesign either our existing business model or existing architecture.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?
We have several clients across the country from different industries that include Food Industry, Hotels, Trucking and Logistics, Real Estate, Hospitality Industry, Beauty Industry etc.
Our client retention ratio is about 70-75%. We have a great command of the products we build for many of the industries we work for. We strive to communicate effectively with our client base, ensuring that we provide our best services to them.

Mention the objectives or the parameters critical in determining the time frame of developing a mobile app.
The design and development of a mobile app go through several stages, such as: designing the app, identification of the approach, developing a prototype, coding, testing, quality assurance and launching the app. Every phase requires time to ensure it is built to spec. The amount of time these stages take to be completed has an effect on the experience, knowledge, and expertise of the employees who are performing the task.
How much effort in terms of time goes into developing the front end and back end of a mobile app?
The answer to this question depends upon the specifications of the design brief. The complexity of the specs will determine the amount of time and effort that is required. At GOTESO™ we put maximum effort into the designing and development of all our mobile apps – regardless of the complexity of the requirement.
What are the key parameters to be considered before selecting the right platform for a mobile application?
There are several parameters which need to be taken into consideration before selecting a platform for an app. Parameters like target audience, technical features, app budget, the client’s business model and product are important to be considered.
Which platform do you suggest your clients begin with when they approach you with an idea (Android or iOS) and why?
For us, at GOTESO™ the business idea is more important than anything - irrespective of the platform that we are required to use for a particular project. For getting an idea of the OS, we need to identify the target audience, product type, and the business model.
Android or iOS, Native or Hybrid — which platform is best to use to build your app? What are your recommendations?
Native apps are always recommended over the Hybrid apps - if the client’s timeframe and budget are flexible. For us, we use a lot of native features like GPS, interactive notifications, payment modules, etc.
Hybrid apps can be a good option when we need to deal with data and where user experience is not a major factor.
Hybrid apps can be a good option when we need to deal with data and where user experience is not a major factor.
What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of a mobile application?
The cost of a mobile application is decided according to the resource usage, a third party licensing fee and premium assets. Once these things have been determined, the cost of a mobile app can be made.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
We strictly follow the milestone method of payment. We decide milestones and their respective weight in the complete cost in the project’s planning stage.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
At GOTESO™ we usually seek project budgets of no less than $8,000 USD. However, we are not rigid with this. If a project of interest appears (and we believe it can add value to our organization), we never hesitate in accepting it.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2016?
In 2016, GOTESO™ worked on projects that ranged between $10,000 USD to a maximum of $50,000 USD.
Which business model do you suggest to your clients enabling them to generate revenue from mobile applications? Why?
We work on two business models.
The first is an application based model. This is a service which is based on a peer-to-peer marketplace. It connects sellers and buyers within a specified geographic radius.
The second is an application model based on a subscription, but this model’s operating plan must focus on subscriber retention and re-connecting with lapsed users.
