They kept iterating until we felt we had nailed the overall feel.

The scope of work for the company website redesign and prototyping included a discovery process, design process and final deliverables. The purpose of the discovery phase was to gain a deeper understanding of the problems that need to be solved with the existing site, uncover the short and long-term product vision, conduct primary and secondary research to validate or pivot the strategy, and review research and design materials collected to create an informed strategy for the design sprint.

Hornet Dynamics design process included developing the user flows for the website and creating a high-fidelity design document to establish a cohesive set of brand guidelines. We determined the overall tone, look and feel of the website should be clean, professional, smart, intuitive and easy to use. Deliverables in the design process included an initial prototype, wireframing revisions, design direction, design revisions, usability testing and high-fidelity designed prototype in Figma.

They aren’t the most affordable group, but we haven’t had sticker shocks anywhere. Moreover, their communication is excellent. They’re on top of everything, and the level of transparency is remarkable.

We have the code on GitHub, a Slack channel, and Jira to see the progress.

In the beginning, Hornet Dynamics had to work with patches of code, which definitely made the project more challenging. They analyzed the existing code in depth and rebuilt the database to extend it to what we needed.

The system is a solution for some regulatory changes in Europe called MiFID II; it manages content and independent research providers, as well as broker-dealers. With the two groups, there are two regulatory constraints that come around how the end consumer looks at the.01

Hornet dynamics has built the marketplace using C#. They’ve developed a simple upload process for content providers and multiple features and downloading capabilities for the underlying investment professional.

Even though they had a lot of personal challenges due to the Russian Invasion of Ukraine, they’ve never skipped a beat on anything. The team keeps everything flowing. All in all, they’re one of the most professional groups we’ve worked with.

No, we’ve been super happy with their work. If we were to hire a development team again, we’d immediately go to Hornet Dynamics.
