Collaborating with HQSoftware, the customer received cost-effective, intuitive, and portable VR training that meets the training requirements of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) and the IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO).

With this training, aimed for use in the preliminary awareness phase, ground support equipment (GSE) staff no longer need to physically visit the airport area. This approach improves personnel safety, speeds up on-site training, and reduces overall training costs by 47%.

To assess the environment for which VR training is intended, and to understand its operational dynamics and current training delivery methods, two HQSoftware representatives visited the airport in the UAE.

With this information, the team was able to define the requirements for VR hardware, determine the required quantity, and provide a final project estimate and roadmap.

As a result, our team developed a complete VR training program in about 6 months.

This VR training solution can be adapted to any airport area, enabling the customer to offer it as a comprehensive training solution for multiple airports, thereby increasing potential revenue streams.

Partnering with HQSoftware, the customer received an advanced Machine Learning algorithm that provides real-time insights on equipment performance and predicts potential issues, enabling proactive elimination.

This advancement helped our customer decrease equipment downtime by up to 63.8%, which was the main goal before the project started.

A comprehensive VR platform with a high level of detail, featuring multi-user access, various VR environments, and personalized virtual rooms for collaborative learning.

The application involves multi-user access and offers 3 user roles with corresponding rights:

• Student – participates in immersive medical classes and interacts with visual content.
• Teacher – controls and assesses students’ performance, supervises medical classes, and manages simulations.
• Admin – manages the platform, classrooms, and 3D content.

The platform provides several VR environments, including the lobby and classrooms. Students can communicate in special virtual rooms and invite other users to perform various manipulations together, for example:

• study anatomy: load 3D models of organs, rotate them, split them into smaller parts, and hide particular elements;
• learn the features of certain medical procedures;
• study theory:
• conduct live lectures;
• share videos, pdf files, or presentations;
• take training sessions in VR simulation; etc.

The solution gathers and analyzes soil composition across 35+ configurable parameters, and visualizes the results on a map in real time. The app aggregates data from two million data points daily with zero downtime.

Solution

A comprehensive VR training to help users learn how to provide appropriate care for people with dementia and avoid common mistakes.

Results

Partnering with HQSoftware, the customer – Dementia Reality – received an immersive VR training program that helps professionals and families learn how to care for people with dementia by demonstrating basic routines, and how to avoid certain typical mistakes that have a negative emotional impact.

By building a custom compressing module, we ensured seamless and quick video downloading, increasing its usability for training.

Collaborating with HQSoftware, the customer received a cross-platform mobile app with advanced warehouse navigation capabilities. By exchanging data with the custom WMS, the app creates optimized picking routes in warehouses of any configuration and provides visual and voice guidance to speed up order picking.

With the new app, the customer reduced order picking time by 25% and achieved order picking accuracy of up to 99%. So, the successful implementation of the mobile app empowered the customer to optimize their warehouse navigation, streamline operations, and deliver better service to their clients.

Teaming up with HQSoftware, the client developed a software solution for effective VR training with an abundance of simulations.

The software provides training simulations in a variety of fields such as engineering, mechanics, and cooking. The main goal of the software is occupational training, meaning that it helps users learn new skills to acquire new jobs. Main functionality delivered:

• Animated and voiced VR instructional simulations
• Immersive training for complex skills
• Trainee scoring and awards system

The customer is an expert manufacturer and supplier of dirty water pumps and slurry pumps, for use in mining, recycling, and quarry dewatering. The pumps are located all over the world, and the customer needed a solution that will help to control all the pumps: monitor their status in real-time to see, when exactly they need maintenance services.

In collaboration with HQSoftware developers, Elexa has built an iOS application that allows users to monitor possible leaks in water pipes. The solution will improve the customers’ smart home experience by providing more complete control over home appliances.

Solution

The system is based on two major elements: a hardware solution and a software system to support it.

 

Functionality

The HQSoftware team was tasked with developing an iOS application to monitor the hardware system and keep track of the water supply.

The application is available for both iOS and Android; both versions have the same number of features:

• Hardware remote control. Through the app, the user can control the valve control to turn the water supply on and off. The user also can check the status of the system to make sure that everything is working as intended;
• Status notifications. The user receives notifications when a water leak occurs and the valve controller shuts the water off;
• Multiple location setups. One app can control several valve controller+leak detector setups in several locations, such as homes, rentals, or vacation houses;
• System sharing. Users can provide access to the system to family, friends, and neighbors so they can keep an eye out for emergencies.

The system is being developed for the leading provider of audit services for pension funds in Australia performing nearly 10,000 audits per year.

A solution that allows for capturing video from cameras and reformatting the stream into web-friendly formats that can be embedded in web pages. The software is also capable of analyzing the video to recognize various objects, such as moving cars, pedestrians, or license plates.

An augmented reality–based content engine called PICTOFiT, that allows converting pieces of clothes into vivid 2D & 3D assets for a virtual try-on. The product was designed to help retail businesses to increase sales and reduce return rates through driving consumer engagement.

A sensor-based IoT solution that monitors the health status of the environment inside a house. A cloud-based backend gathers and stores data for further processing while a mobile application allows checking the health status of the house on the go.

It is a native Android app that extends core offering of the customer– a European company which develops complex, customizable systems for managing various connected devices in a smart building or on a smart yacht.

HQSoftware’s IoT experts pulled together to take up this challenge, which also included working with the customer’s proprietary protocol in remoteness from the real devices, bringing a degree of uncertainty to the development process.

The goal of the project was to create a system that would allow those traveling on medium-haul flights to enjoy live TV programs, video on demand (VOD), hotel booking, car reservations, weather forecasts and many more – on board a plane, at the airport and in the city.

The solution enables the BYOD approach, where users can connect to the customer’s Wi-Fi spots located on board, at the airport and in the place of destination with their own devices running either on iOS or Android.

HQSoftware developed a system for managing a network of connected smart sensors that would collect, process and measure a wealth of data from vehicles and vehicle components under simulated road-driving conditions.

The project team was challenged to create a multisensor environment with limited CPU and RAM resources while staying compliant with the industry’s high testing standards.
