The scope of work with Inshasis Technologies was extensive and required close collaboration between our teams. Their responsibilities included end-to-end product development across mobile, web, and backend systems.
Key parts of the scope:
User Research & Product Design
Their team interviewed our internal staff, looked at real support tickets, and studied how patients and providers interacted with existing processes. They then designed wireframes and full UI layouts for both the mobile app and provider dashboard.
Mobile App Development (Patient-Facing)
The app needed to show real-time payment information, expected costs, and explanations of benefits. Inshasis built the app to feel simple and welcoming, even for users who don’t feel tech-savvy.
Web Portal for Providers
This included secure login, claim status dashboards, payment history, and a way for providers to upload documents without going through email chains. They made it easy to navigate and fast to load.
Backend/API Develop
What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?
What stood out the most was their ability to understand complex healthcare systems and turn them into something simple for users. A lot of developers can write good code, but not many can take a messy, confusing workflow—like insurance claims or benefit explanations—and turn it into a screen that feels easy to read and not stressful at all. Their design and product thinking were just as strong as their technical skills.
What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?
If I had to mention one small area for improvement, it would be that sometimes they were a bit too careful when suggesting ideas. There were moments when we wished they were more direct about telling us, “This approach will not work,” instead of waiting for us to ask more questions.
