About:

A platform that teaches the basics of unit economy and makes you able to master necessary skills of start-up management at every stage of its growth.

Objective:

Monosoft had to develop a comprehensive Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure effective knowledge acquisition and skill development. Platform should contain a start-up simulator to provide practical experience for the customers. Also, it had to work smoothly on devices of any type - the platform had to provide an ability to learn on-the-go. Structured merge of the theoretical and practical modules had to give users a holistic understanding of their learning business subjects.

Challenge:

Flexible CMS Supporting Interactive Content:

To ensure a studying journey was captivating, we had to develop functionality that allowed uploading into lectures and quizzes all possible types of video, audio, graphic materials and fit all devices and operating systems. 

User should experience real business conditions in virtual environment:

A unit economics simulator had to accurately reflect the complex interplay of events in a real business. This includes simulating not just everyday occurrences but also unexpected events and employee mistakes.

Dynamic Pricing Coordination:

The goal was to create a seamless integration with the Stripe system. Monosoft had to come up with the proper way for Stripe to automatically detect and reflect relevant prices for each user

Business Analysis & Information Gathering:

The client didn’t have any technical documentation at all, just a vision and good understanding of the industry. During the interviews, Monosoft gathered critical demands and feature requests from the product team, and used this information to craft a comprehensive product requirement document (PRD). It allowed us to develop the exact platform the client wanted.

Overview:

Securing a $90 million funding round in 2019 elevated Grammarly to unicorn status with a valuation surpassing $1 billion. Today Grammarly is #1 writing assistant app in the world. The companyʼs suite of products, including grammar checkers, keyboards, and business solutions, serves millions of users worldwide.

Challenge:

Grammarly has a computationally intensive product that needs to stay extremely responsive. Keyboard had to achieve seamless and responsive experience expected by users.
Mobile keyboard had to work perfectly and be compatible with a diverse range of platforms and applications which demanded meticulous testing and adaptation to ensure seamless linguistic support.
Sheer volume and variability of apps where the Grammarly Keyboard is integrated made comprehensive manual regression checks impracticable to implement.
Due to pioneering nature of Grammarly there were no established testing practices to rely on. It was important to craft first-of-its-kind approach for automated testing solution tailored to the distinctive linguistic features of Grammarly.

Collaboration:

Monosoft SDETs team actively engaged in joint sprint plannings and daily stand-up meetings, fostering a seamless integration of testing processes into Grammarlyʼs development lifecycle to prioritize and plan test coverage for upcoming features and functions.

Monosoft developed the Grammarly Keyboard for Android devices, ensuring seamless features integration and extreme responsiveness across a diverse range of devices. Our focus was on creating native mobile user experience around the vast range of Grammarly key features:
