API Factory is a centralized solution developed for the Biofarma Group to streamline the management, monitoring, and deployment of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). Built on a webMethod-based framework, the platform provides a unified hub where APIs across different subsidiaries can be developed, published, and maintained more efficiently. Beyond Biofarma itself, the system is also designed to be accessible and usable by other group companies such as Kimia Farma and Indofarma, ensuring seamless collaboration and data exchange across the wider ecosystem.

This project was carried out from January 2022 to December 2022 with a dedicated team of 14 professionals. With the integration of DevOps practices, the solution not only accelerates API deployment cycles but also ensures stability, consistency, and continuous improvement in managing digital services.

From a technical standpoint, API Factory leverages a robust technology stack: SQL Server for structured and reliable data management, RHEL 7 & 8 as the enterprise-grade operating system for performance and security, Terracotta for in-memory data caching to enhance speed and scalability, and Java-based components as the backbone for application logic. Together, these technologies deliver a high-performing, scalable, and secure platform that meets enterprise-level requirements.

The implementation of API Factory has become a strategic milestone for the Biofarma Group in advancing digital transformation. By centralizing API management, the solution enhances interoperability between systems, reduces redundancies, supports innovation, and ensures a stronger digital infrastructure that benefits not only internal operations but also external partners and stakeholders.

Electronic Health Record (EHR) is a comprehensive and integrated digital system designed to securely store, manage, and connect patient health data across multiple healthcare facilities. By centralizing medical records, the system enables doctors and healthcare providers to easily access complete patient histories, supporting more accurate diagnoses, faster decision-making, and continuity of care. With EHR, patient information such as medical history, laboratory results, prescriptions, and treatment plans can be viewed in real time, eliminating silos between departments or facilities.

The project was implemented over a one-year period from February 2022 to February 2023 with a dedicated team of 14 professionals. The system was developed to enhance collaboration among healthcare providers, reduce administrative burdens, and minimize the risk of human error in handling sensitive patient data.

On the technical side, the solution leverages SQL Server as the database backbone to ensure data integrity and reliability, Java Spring and Java for scalable backend development, and Tomcat as the robust application server to deliver high performance and security. This modern technology stack provides the foundation for a system that can grow alongside evolving healthcare demands while maintaining compliance with data security standards.

Ultimately, the EHR system strengthens digital healthcare infrastructure by improving efficiency, ensuring data accuracy, and enhancing patient-centered services. It marks a significant step toward a more connected, transparent, and technology-driven healthcare ecosystem.
