We partnered with Raftlabs at the very early stages of the development of our product. We were assigned three engineering talents at a very reasonable price.
Our startup is working on an unproven business model, and have not yet found product market fit. There were plenty of changes and product iterations throughout the development, but the Raftlabs team showed ownership and initiative in helping us guide the product from the technical standpoint.
The Raftlabs team and us work on a different timezone, and there were issues with communication. However we worked to improve on implementing asynchronous communication from both sides.

We reached out with a problem statement. They helped us come to a scope of the solution with every single item required to arrive at the goal and objectives we had. The data would be then dumped in the central data store and reports being generated in real time. The analytics dashboard was super intuitive. Project Overview
TuneClub is a music learning platform helping Irish musicians move from home practice to confident stage performance. They wanted to replace scattered tools and offline communication with a mobile app that guides learners, tracks progress, and supports better interaction between tutors and students.
The Challenge
Musicians had no structured way to follow lessons or understand what to practise next. Tutors lacked visibility into how students were practising between sessions. Learning materials, exercises, and feedback were spread across different channels, leading to inconsistent routines and limited insight into real progress.
Our Contribution
We built a mobile-first learning app that creates an organised and engaging practice environment. Learners can follow guided lesson flows, complete exercises, upload recordings, and receive feedback directly inside the app. Progress tracking features help musicians see improvement and stay motivated during their learning journey.
Tutors and admins get tools to manage lessons, upload materials, review practice activity, and track learner progress across groups. This gives the team a clearer view of performance trends and allows them to support musicians more effectively.
Key Improvements
The platform now offers structured practice, simplified lesson management, and better communication between learners and tutors. Musicians spend less time figuring out what to do and more time practising. Tutors gain the insights they need to guide students toward stronger performance results.
Outcome
TuneClub now runs on a scalable learning platform that supports a growing community of Irish musicians. The app improves practice quality, strengthens tutor–student engagement, and provides reliable data to shape upcoming courses, events, and performance-focused features.
The client is a gas station management company operating multiple outlets that needed better visibility, faster operations, and accurate tracking across locations. Their earlier processes relied heavily on manual data entry, paper invoices, delayed reporting, and separate systems for sales, stock, and purchases. As transactions increased, this created challenges in consistency, real-time tracking, and decision-making.
We partnered with them to build a custom software platform that brought together inventory management, real-time sales tracking, and automated reporting into one simple and reliable system. A key part of the solution was an AI-powered OCR engine designed to process invoices from different vendors across all locations. This replaced the manual work of entering purchase data, verifying quantities, and updating stock levels. With OCR automation, the system extracts data, validates it, and updates inventory instantly.
The platform also provides real-time dashboards that show fuel and store sales, stock movement, low-inventory alerts, and purchase behavior across outlets. Each location can view its own performance while the central team gets a consolidated view of all stations. This helped them reduce errors, improve reconciliation, and manage daily operations more efficiently.
Shift managers can record sales, update stock, and track purchases through a clean interface, while the backend ensures accuracy with automated validations. The platform also supports multi-location scaling, so new stations can be added seamlessly with consistent workflows.
Overall, the solution helped eliminate manual data entry, speed up invoice processing, improve accuracy of stock and sales tracking, and give the management team real-time control over business performance. The company now handles high transaction volumes smoothly with a single system that supports growth and operational consistency across all outlets.
Energia partnered with RaftLabs to modernize their loyalty experience and improve how customers interact with rewards, offers, and engagement programs. Their earlier systems made registration, verification, and reward redemption difficult, while internal teams struggled with fragmented dashboards, manual operations, and limited visibility into customer activity.
We helped redesign the loyalty flow with a more intuitive onboarding and verification process. Customers gained a clearer way to manage points, track rewards, and redeem offers through updated interfaces and simplified navigation. The improvements made it easier for users to participate in ongoing campaigns and stay engaged with the loyalty program.
On the internal side, we built a unified admin and loyalty portal that gave teams better control over user registrations, campaign setup, coupon management, and reward distribution. Detailed dashboards provided insights into platform usage, engagement patterns, and operational metrics, helping teams make data-driven decisions.
Features such as automated verification workflows, improved campaign tools, activity logs, and real-time dashboards reduced manual work and improved efficiency. The platform was also designed to handle high traffic while maintaining strong performance and reliability.

City Break Apartments was operating across multiple properties with outdated digital tools that made the guest journey slow and operational workflows difficult. Bookings didn’t sync smoothly with their RMS, check-ins involved manual steps, and guests had no simple way to access property information or manage their stay. The internal team struggled with limited visibility, inconsistent processes, and a heavy amount of manual work.

A modern booking experience, a mobile-first guest journey, and a central system that connects bookings, check-ins, room access, and property operations into one seamless flow. They wanted to reduce operational load, improve guest satisfaction, and increase direct bookings.
Solution Delivered
We partnered with them to build a new booking platform integrated directly with their RMS for real-time availability, pricing accuracy, and faster booking flow. This improved the direct booking experience across all their properties.

RaftLabs is a SaaS applications and custom software development company. We focus on building lovable web and mobile apps in the marketing tech and media streaming space. My role in the organization is to build business relationships with our customers, partners, and vendors.
What is the story behind starting this company?
We are a startup turned software development agency. As founders, we have always been inclined toward building scalable SaaS products and solutions. Having built software products for Fortune 500 in our previous roles as product heads, under RaftLabs we came together to make a SaaS web and mobile app solution for events and communities. In 2020, the pandemic changed the dynamics, and we formally opened ourselves as an agency. Since then, we are on a mission to leverage our knowledge to help build lovable SaaS and custom software solutions for our customers.

We have our own in-house team.

As product builders ourselves, we're intensely focused on building things that we understand. Instead of working as a vendor, we work with our clients as partners. We own a lot of technical decision-making on their behalf, helping them focus on their business. We’re an outcome-driven agency as opposed to the output.

We cater to the marketing, commerce, and media tech industries. We build live or on-demand video communications solutions for workplaces, healthcare, or education. In the marketing and commerce space, we create loyalty and rewards platforms, commerce workflow solutions, etc.

Most of our clients approach us for end-to-end product discovery, UX/UI design services, and building web and mobile apps.
What is your customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
We're not perfect. While we strive for a 100% satisfaction rate, we would be about 90% on customer satisfaction. We've built technical and managerial processes and systems that adapt to customers' requirements and resource availability. It makes it personalized and delivers output.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
We're a customer-centric company. We generally ensure our customers get value from us in everything they engage us on. We've tools and processes in place by which our team promptly responds back to our customers for any queries or challenges.

We generally work on a milestone deliverables basis with startups and growth-stage companies. With established businesses, we augment their teams with our dedicated resources, for which we charge in the T&M model.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
Yes. We generally engage with projects which have minimum budget north of USD 25,000. However, we take a final decision based on the interactions with customers. There have been instances where we have done projects less than our minimum budget.

In 2021, the range varied from as low as USD 12,000 to as high as USD 1,00,000+.
