Coffee Wagera, based in Karachi, is a unique coffee shop chain that emphasizes serving excellent coffee, homemade snacks, a workbench with complimentary Wi-Fi, and an overall cheerful and happy experience to all its visitors.

Requirement:

• The brand previously employed punch cards for customer promotions and discounts. With every purchase, customers received a stamp, and upon collecting eight stamps, they were entitled to a free beverage.
• Unfortunately, this system resulted in the excessive production of cards, leading to significant paper wastage.
• The café faced another challenge as its paper-based loyalty program operated separately from their Point of Sale system.
• Furthermore, they lacked a tracking system to monitor customer interactions and preferences, hindering their ability to provide tailored offers and experiences.

The Solution:

Reactree designed and developed a cross-platform Coffee Wagera mobile app for iOS and Android using Flutter. This provided a seamless and quick loyalty program for the customers.
We also crafted a sleek web-based admin portal, empowering the brand’s management to effortlessly issue store credit in the form of ‘beans’ as well as access and update promotional offers, menu, and more.

How it Works:

The loyalty points you collect in the app are called beans that indicate how many points you’ve earned and what kind of promotional discounts you can avail through them. You can redeem beans in 2 ways: firstly, by signing up on the app and verifying your mobile number. Secondly, whenever you purchase anything from the café, you’ll get access to a QR code, and upon scanning that code with the app, you’ll be able to automatically redeem more beans from your wallet.

Notable Highlights:

Earning beans on the app is a breeze, either by signing up or by scanning their QR code at the cafe. This has made it a lot easier for the brand to introduce promotions and deals. This has also resulted in much better customer retention as well as engagement, gaining the brand popularity among the audience on social media platforms.Another highlight of the app is that once you launch it on your phone, you get a greeting from the owner, Mush Panjwani, in the same cheerful and happy tone as you will be by the staff at Coffee Wagera upon entering any of the café’s outlets.

Result:

With this solution, the café achieved a key objective: reducing paper wastage by transitioning to a fully digital loyalty program. This allowed them to stay connected with their customers while remaining true to their values, ensuring a consistently positive and personalized experience.

Furthermore, the integration of the Point of Sale system and the introduction of the web-based admin portal have simplified customer tracking, sales reporting, and app updates for the management, eliminating unnecessary manual labor.

Since its launch, the CW app has undergone several enhancements and has garnered over 10000 downloads. It has revolutionized the process of earning and redeeming beans (loyalty points) for customers while also streamlining customer service solutions for the business.
