What stood out most was how quickly they understood our technical domain. Oil and gas isn’t an easy industry to step into, but their team made the effort to learn about drilling parameters, well designs, and completion workflows so that the product they built wasn’t just functional — it was practical for real engineers to use.
What impressed us the most was how deeply they cared about understanding our workflow before developing the solution. Many companies rush to build features, but Ropstam’s team spent time learning how we operate, the problems we face daily, and the kind of improvements that would actually help us in the long term. They also brought creative ideas to the table for example, suggesting a smart notification system that automatically reminds consultants of pending tasks based on their project role.
What impressed us most was their deep understanding of complex financial workflows and their ability to translate that into a web platform that works smoothly for everyone.

What Users Like The Least

If I had to mention one thing, it would be that early in the project, there were a few moments where the testing feedback loop took longer than we expected. It wasn’t a big issue, but a slightly faster turnaround on QA reviews during the beta stage would’ve helped speed things up. Still, they were very responsive once we mentioned it, and the final product turned out great.
If there’s one area they could work on, it would be shortening the time it takes to finalize design approvals. Because the team shared several great design options, it sometimes took longer for both sides to agree on the final version. That said, the extra time was worth it, considering the final result looks excellent and functions perfectl
