Revamping a Wedding Planning Website with Advanced Features

Sanmark’s recent project, Wedshed, exemplifies our capacity to transform and elevate a client’s website to new heights. This endeavor involved not only a shift in technology but also a commitment to creating a highly customized, user-friendly, and responsive website.

Client’s Specific Requirements

One of the key requirements from the client was a fully customized website. The client needed advanced user filters to enhance the user experience, ensuring that the website was not only efficient but also intuitive and easy to navigate. Additionally, the website had to be SEO-friendly, optimizing its visibility and ranking on search engines. Another critical requirement was responsiveness, ensuring the website’s optimal performance and appearance across various devices and screen sizes.

Addressing the Challenges

The challenge we faced was our initial unfamiliarity with NextJs. However, our team’s eagerness to learn and adapt played a crucial role in swiftly acquiring the necessary skills. This learning process was enhanced by the guidance and mentorship from our project leader.

Our Approach and Execution

Our team employed Agile and Scrum methodologies, allowing for a flexible and iterative approach to the project. This strategy enabled us to effectively incorporate the client’s specific needs and make adjustments as needed. Our collaboration with Andrew Berman was integral, as his vision and input were essential in shaping the final product.

Several ecommerce website development projects were done for the company “The Three by TPV” by Sanmark. Their current main online outlet is a full-featured ecommerce website that sells fashion items. We developed this system’s features by considering the buyers’ and sellers’ convenience. With this system, the client can manage the business on his own because this has an easy-use and easy-to-understand back office. Several reports are given to the client to get an idea of the business's status. This system has all the capabilities of a modern ecommerce platform packed in a lightweight system. 

Thomas, Patrick and Vadim are the clients of this project. We spent about nine months time period with them to complete this project.

As a responsible corporate citizen, Sanmark always expects social well-being and be with every social hazard. 

We are happy to inform you that we have completed our first stage of the HIUS project. To overcome the COVID-19 pandemic, Sanmark developed the HIUS for free to be used in hospitals under the Ministry of Health of Sri Lanka to help the healthcare sector manage resources during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. This system allows the collection of hospital management data in a centralised manner.

We developed this system, including many features to overcome the Covid pandemic.

Bidder.com.au is an online real estate auction software system developed by Sanmark for an Australian client, which has all the features required for a real-time real estate auction. We spent nearly one year working on this project. And we are happy to mention that we will continue to work with the client as a long-term service provider for their future project development and maintenance.

 The system has multiple complex features, and we also used many advanced technologies. The system is also well-equipped to handle many visitors at a given time.

Through this project, our team got to work with new technologies. We made use of microservice architecture heavily in this project. It was fun working in different services by making them work together at the end.
