Problem: Deloitte Audit Graduate Recruitment were looking to improve the probability of graduate candidates joining their firm. 

Solution: As a result of in-depth market research a mobile app was developed that provided mentorship opportunities to graduates as well as a simple way to join into Deloitte competitions, submit results and attend Deloitte events. This connects to an Applicant tracking system which we also manage.

Problem: Internal audit client’s findings are not being managed and compiled in a sufficient way, leaving important information to get lost and disorganised.

Solution: Develop a software platform that automates the review of a commercial lease agreement for BDO clients.

This piece of software was developed to automate the review of agreements. The software now aids in managing and compiling internal information in a sufficient way, that allows all data to be organised and accounted for.

Problem: Valtech are an organisation undergoing rapid expansion and often find themselves struggling for capacity. Ensuring they have the right skill sets in place when projects kick off is a hard task for their recruitment team. They require a solution to their capacity issue, all the while avoiding permanently hiring.

Solution: SovTech has a dedicated staff augmentation department that focuses on sourcing and qualifying the best talent. We do this by ensuring we find the 'right' candidate with the 'right' skill set at the 'right' cost. We also strive to understand our client’s internal culture so we find the right fit technically and socially. 

Implementation: Weekly alignment sessions with the Valtech recruitment team and the relevant SovTech individuals allow us to keep a finger on the pulse. Through the use of smart tooling (shared Trello boards, Google sheets, etc.)  we are able to prioritise certain skill sets in tandem with the Valtech team, allowing us proactively forecast and find the right fit for the job.

Problem: Nando’s needed to present all their marketing material on a tablet at their global 30th birthday celebration. 

Solution: SovTech built an interactive timeline of Nandos marketing material that allows event attendees to easily explore and experience the history of Nandos through the lens of their online, print and guerilla marketing material over the years.

Problem: Comparing financial products for consumers and companies is a nightmare

Solution: A financial comparisons web app that organises information to assist the borrower in making their best lending or financial decision, while providing lenders with deep insights into their interested parties leveraging a host of financial API’s to build an understanding.

Problem: Access to the right equipment at the right time for the right price is a challenge that most farmers, regardless of their size, face on a monthly basis. Additionally, payment processing is a significant challenge for a market that does not usually trade digitally. 

Solution: A platform that enables farmers to find, rent and pay for equipment. AXL provides world-class payment solutions that ease cash flow challenges for service providers while connecting renters to quality rated service.

Problem: Credit card terminals lack functionality, are slow, and are generally outdated. They leave a business owner needing more to manage their transactions. 

Solution: Mobile POS platform for small business owners.

Problem: PPRO were looking to improve customer success by building a centralised platform for their clients to use on a daily basis.

Solution: Through analysing the current customer roadmap and tools available to them, SovTech developed a web application that allowed PPRO to centralise all their services into one platform. Not only have they seen an increase in engagement but the platform has allowed them to take on bigger, more complex clients.

Problem: Benefits received from wildlife are not necessarily received, but those bearing the greatest losses due to wildlife and are often not enough to outweigh the costs of living with wildlife. There is no platform to control the flow of funds into coexisting communities and conservation efforts across Africa.

Solution: Baotree will create and enable a digital conservation interface that facilitates the flow of funds directly into coexisting communities and conservation efforts across Africa.

Our task was to use machine learning and OCR functionality to manage, run and track multiple projects and stakeholders in one flexible platform. The platform is now used to promote a new way to facilitate the interface between humans and nature.

Problem: With the popular rise of e-hailing services such as Uber, Bolt, Land yft, the market has seen a daily usage of over 50 million rides taken daily in 2018. With this, there has been a huge increase in safety concerns with crimes being committed by rideshare drivers as well as by individuals posing as rideshare drivers who lure unsuspecting passengers to their vehicles by placing an emblem on their car or by claiming to be a passenger's expected driver.

Solution: Secure Express (SE), seeks to address this issue by offering a more secure e-hailing service. This is achieved by having a 100% ownership of all fleet vehicles which are tracked and supported by a 24hr Global Security Operations Centre.

Problem: The TOPL team set out to introduce traceability into supply chain ethics and sustainability through the use of blockchain technology. 

Solution: They came to SovTech to kick off their product journey. Together, design and engineering teams established a design language and roadmap, before embarking on a high-output agile engineering journey together, continuing today.

Problem:

The sales process requires a lot of effort from the sales reps and technical staff. There is no platform for a simple and clean user experience for leads to specify their needs, generate models and quotes based on their needs, and validate if the solutions and price warrants the effort of pursuing these customers.

Solution:

Customers are able to log on to the platform, specify their needs, generate their model and generate a quote in seconds. The value behind this instant service results in enhanced acquisitions into the sales funnel and ability to retain interest and convert into customer
