Sparx IT Solutions is a well-known web and mobile app design and development company. What was the idea behind starting this organization?
We started our venture in the year 2007. We aim to aid businesses in all sizes and nature to flourish with our end-to-end mobile and web development solutions. We offer terrific work opportunities to tech enthusiasts, to contribute towards the economic growth of the country.
What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/outsourcing?
We are equipped with an in-house team of 250+ employees, and we are in the process of expanding our development team. Our team is broad, and we have experts in almost every field of technology. Be it a software developer, web designer, quality inspector, or digital marketing specialist; we have skilled and qualified professionals to serve our global clients.
How is your business model beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other companies' models?
Our business model is client-centric, i.e., we focus on rendering development solutions that are tailor-made to suit the requests of the clients. This enables us to deliver an app just the way our clients want, and a service that is far beyond the expectations. With our distinctive approach, we have helped many companies to scale their business in a short period.

We have served a wide array of industry verticals. This includes healthcare, manufacturing, education, retail, finance, logistics, and many more. Yes, we have an impressive percentage of repeat customers.

Every project is different and comes with its own sets of complexity. That’s why we conduct an in-depth analysis of the project and its risk factors before specifying a delivery date to our clients. So, we don’t have any particular criteria for selecting the time-frame. All we do is the apt analysis of the project.
How much effort in terms of time goes into developing the front end and back end of a mobile app?
The total time taken to develop an app depends upon the three factors: project requirements, features, and functionalities of an app.

The main parameter for picking the two is the popularity of the platform (iOS and Android). You should choose a platform based on what the major user base prefers. So, if they are inclined towards iOS, it would be safe to go with iOS, else Android.

The choice depends on a range of factors like the purpose which an app will serve, its target audience, and the budget. Our recommendations will vary based on the above factors. Typically, we always recommend Native app development, and this is because it is stable and secure compared to other platforms.

An extensive analysis is useful in deciding the cost of a mobile app. After having a round of discussions and conversations with the clients, we develop an understanding of what they exactly want from us. Then, we proceed towards the time and resources that will be needed in the development of an app. That’s how we evaluate the cost of app making.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions, etc.)
We have two payment models:
First is, Fixed Cost, where the clients have to pay in installments, which is termed as Payment Milestones.
The second is, hiring a dedicated team of experts, who will work with clients daily.
We charge monthly for the dedicated teams that you choose to work with.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
Yes, we take up projects that are above $5k. However, if we get an interesting project that will enhance our portfolio or offers us the opportunity to use the latest and advanced technologies, we will surely evaluate such kind of projects.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2018?
The price range of the projects which we have worked on is $5k -$200k.
Which business model do you suggest to your clients enabling them to generate revenue from mobile applications? Why?
It mainly depends upon the specific goals and objectives of the clients. For businesses that want to drive higher revenue using mobile apps, we recommend them models like In-app purchases, Ads, Referrals, etc.
