Our company is an integrated & multi-faceted ICT solutions. We provide IT solutions to different companies. Since we do not have expertise in providing all types of services, we partnered with StarTele Logic to develop few project of our clients. They have good resources in terms of manpower and technology. We had a very good experience working with them. They are dedicated and strive to complete the project within the allocated time.

What was the idea behind starting this organization?
The idea behind starting StarTele Logic was to build a software development company that offers quality services and make communication reach for everyone. Today anyone can use mobile devices to control the lighting or lock cars and remotely check houses. How is it possible to connect and enable interactions between two different computer machines? Through APIs or Microservices.

Our DNA is VOIP and moving forward, we recently launched our communication platform as a services (CPaaS) product named “Telemo” available in private beta.
What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
Every bit of the work here is done by our hardworking and talented in-house team.
How is your business model beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other companies' models?
We offer our clients superior quality services, taking into view their perspectives while working relentlessly to ensure the best possible customer experience.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?
We cater to industries like Healthcare, Manufacturing, Banking, Energy and Power, Consumer Electronics, Travel and Hospitality, and Telecommunication.

The objectives we mainly focus upon are the skills required to build the app, the complexity of the project, and the resources involved for the development of the app.
How much effort in terms of time goes into developing the frontend and backend of a mobile app?
Depending on the requirement, we place time and effort in the development of an app.
What are the key parameters to be considered before selecting the right platform for a mobile application?
The selection of the right platform for the development of a mobile application is dependent on factors like targeted audience, features to be included in it, the cost of development, devices needed for support, and user behavior.
Which platform do you suggest your clients to begin with when they approach you with an idea (Android or iOS) and why?
Both platforms have their share of pros and cons. So while suggesting the platform, time, budget, and scope of application are the primary concerns we focus upon. In case the customer wants to reach out to a higher target audience along with customization of the app, we suggest Android. iOS is suggested when the priority is the privacy of user’s information along with superior customer experience.
Android or iOS, Native or Hybrid — which platform is best to use to build your app? What are your recommendations?
Target audience, client requirement, and budget are the key points that we analyze before recommending any platform. Honestly, Android and iOS might have their excellent individual applications; however, is expensive for small and medium-sized organizations. Thus, the best solution, in this case, is Cross-Platform Apps Development that works across multiple platforms. Also, well-structured hybrid applications are inexpensive, generating a similar look and feel like native applications.
What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of a mobile application?
While deciding the cost of a mobile application, we generally consider the features found in the app and the target audience for the app.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions, etc.)
Again, client requirement is directly related to the payment structure. Generally, we suggest the monthly model, and the cost or payment depends on the project size. Some payment is made in advance, some at the delivery of the project, and remaining after user-level testing and acceptance.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
The budget is quite not an issue if the client enters with an excellent app concept. The budget is dependent on the entire timeline is given in the completion of the task. It becomes automatically low if the efforts placed are less and vice versa.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2018?
Our developer's and solution architect's hourly rate ranges from 16 USD/hr to 100 USD/hr based on the amount of the resources, duration of the engagement, and the complexity of the applications.
Which business model do you suggest to your clients, enabling them to generate revenue from mobile applications? Why?
Apps are mostly developed, keeping in mind the specific group of the targeted audience for a limited period. For this, we don’t make any suggestions for a business model just for generating revenue. We act thoroughly as per the customer needs.
