Three big challenges for the project included striking a balance between Modern Standard Arabic and regional dialects (learners needed both for practical use), retaining users (demanding gamification strategies), and the technical side, which was complex in integrating speech recognition technology and ensuring that the experience was seamless and reliable across multiple devices.
