VEProf delivered highly specialized expertise in virtual printer development and AI systems
The biggest advantage was the time saved. Developing driverless virtual IPP printers across multiple operating systems is a highly niche challenge with limited documentation available. We initially estimated over six months just for research and prototyping. VEProf’s prior experience allowed us to bypass that phase entirely and move straight into development. As a result, we launched a fully cross-platform solution with no driver installation required for end users, along with a robust AI processing pipeline. The overall quality has been strong, with minimal issues post-launch.

Describe your project in brief
Our objective was to build an AI-based document processing platform where users interact primarily through a virtual printer. Instead of uploading files manually, users can simply print documents from any application, which are then captured and processed by our AI pipelines. A key technical challenge was developing driverless virtual IPP printers that function seamlessly across Windows, macOS, and Linux without requiring any additional installations.
VEProf supported us by augmenting our team with an architect/lead developer, a senior full-stack engineer, and a QA specialist. They were responsible for designing the AI processing framework, developing the cross-platform virtual printer layer, and delivering a fully tested, production-ready solution. The project was completed between October and December 2025.
What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?
Their deep technical expertise was the standout factor. Virtual IPP printer development is highly specialized, and VEProf approached it with confidence and readiness. Combined with a strong product-focused mindset from their architect, this expertise had a major impact on both delivery speed and overall quality.
What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?
The initial onboarding phase required some coordination around tools and access, so it could have been slightly more structured. However, once that was resolved, the collaboration became smooth and efficient.
