Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the company?

We provide unlimited software development tasks on a monthly subscription. We want to remove traditional hourly and fixed cost revenue models and want to make clients stress free from payment aspects with flexible pay-as-you-go payment options. No contract. Upgrade, Downgrade, or cancel your plan anytime.

What was the idea behind starting this organization?

Before starting Vivirhub, I spent around 8 years in this industry and worked directly with global clients. During this career, I’ve seen an issue with the fixed and hourly billing model and frustration of the client. I found Traditional software development model is always full of headaches, challenges, and inconsistent results which makes any client stressed because you have to commit a large budget before you start the project and it becomes more difficult for start-ups and SMEs to commit a large budget because they’re not well funded at the starting stage.

So I always wanted to build a solution around these problems, So I created this subscription billing model where customers don’t have to commit a large budget to build their software. A solution where they can freely work with the development team to build their digital product without any stress about the billing.

I saw only a few agencies having this billing model as a secondary or last option but primarily because they are focus on traditional old fixed cost pricing. So our solution is purely customer-oriented.

What is your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?

We offer software development services on monthly pay-as-you-go subscription plans. We are a team of 20+ experienced IT specialists who work closely with global clients to build amazing digital products.

How is your business model beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other companies' models?

Unlike other tech agencies, we provide a monthly subscription billing option to our clients where they don’t have to commit a large budget initially to build their software. Our smart solution allows entrepreneurs to build their next digital project with no big commitments, they can upgrade, downgrade to a less expensive or cancel a plan anytime.

What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive?

Yes, most of our customers are repetitive as there is no long term commitment. Our mostly clients are eCommerce, Healthcare, and Lifestyle industries.

Mention the objectives or the parameters critical in determining the time frame of developing a web app.

It entirely depends upon the complexity of the website. We get the basic estimation of the time frame we look at the purpose, flow, and solution of the business are providing to their customers.

Our specialist works closely with the custom in the design and development process to create the right website strategy, structure, and design. In short, we call it the “Growth-Driven Design Approach”. From there, depending on how complex the client’s needs are, the time frame will range from 2 weeks to 6 months.

How much effort in terms of time goes into developing the front end and back end of a web app?

We follow agile methodology where we divide the entire project into small sprints to create MVP and standalone modules. This reduces the unnecessary efforts and time wastage to build the product as we take regular feedback from the vendor (customer) and sometimes from the end-users so that we can get make required (if any) improvements in the product.

What are the key parameters to be considered before selecting the right platform for a web application?

There are a lot of parameters that must be considered before you select a platform for your web apps. These can be flexibility, option to scale, features, target audience, lifespan, and most important cost.

I would pay more focus on the ‘scalability’ factor.

Which platform and technologies do you prefer to use in development of your web apps?

Adding to the above answer – To build any web app the ‘business model’ and ‘features’ are important to choose the platform and technologies. I prefer Shopify, CMS, PHP – Framework & HubSpot to build web apps as these platforms offer good options to scale your app at a decent cost.

Do you offer website design templates or customised website design, and do you have a responsive website design?

We build bespoke (customized) website designs with a responsive structure. These days responsive structure is mandatory and this is the feature we offer in every app.

Which Content Management System do you prefer to use (Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal etc)?

WordPress is good for non-technical and small business models such as creative, and informational. But for large projects who need to have complex features, I suggest going with Drupal & Joomla.

Do you provide website maintenance services?

Yes, We offer services to businesses that need to add new features to their existing software or revamp the existing one to improve their brand positioning. These services can be from a few hours to weeks.

What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of a web application?

The list of features, to achieve these features and the total number of manpower.

What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)

As mentioned above, we have a pay-as-you-go (pay per feature), billing model. But in case if the client asks to work specifically on a fixed price then we charge a fixed cost based on the project scope.

Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?

We have 3 plans for different types of requirements. Our start-up plan starts with $799/mo in which the client can ask to build any feature. In this plan, you will get a maximum of 40 hours/mo.

What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2018?

Our price range from $799/mo to $2499/mo. Apart from this for large projects, we offer customized plans according to the requirements.
