We initially brought VAIRIX to help us with a project. Over the years, we’ve partnered with them for different clients. This project was about migrating an existing legacy code from Ruby on Rails to React.

We involved some planning for the project to establish some milestones, negotiate deadlines, and so on. However, they focused mainly on the development work. On top of the engineers, they also provide some account managers. Our communication has been fast and super efficient — they’re always on top of the little things. Overall, management has been perfect and super helpful.

We use Jira for project management and ticketing. Also, we communicate through Slack and weekly Zoom meetings.

Firstly Web Recruiters in this project conducted a thorough analysis of our IT agency's business processes. This involved gathering requirements and understanding our current use of technology which provided insights into our current operations and allow the development team to determine how software can be developed to enhance our effectiveness. Based on the requirements gathered, a development team was created. This outlined the technical architecture, potential development frameworks, and the development plan timeline. Their development team designed, tested, and deployed the software application. Once the software system was developed, our agency required ongoing support and maintenance. Therefore, the Web Recruiters development team provided staff augmentation to supplement our in-house IT support team which involved outsourcing IT personnel to help with the implementation, support, and maintenance of the system.

What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?

They’re always on top of things, making sure that everything runs as smoothly as possible. Also, their flexibility is outstanding; they’re smooth at onboarding their engineers for different projects, practices, and ways of working. They always blend in and adapt. After some time, they also started making suggestions for improvements, which is always nice. Overall, they differentiate from others in the way they’re able to add value from day one — it’s impressive.

Their workers were fully engaged in an agile team. At some points, we had some of our workers with them, so they had daily standups via slack video conferencing call or the equivalent. Slack was the primary means of engagement with them. We also used our ticketing system, Jira. I'm sure we used email as well. Also the have certainly accomplished quite a lot of work. In general, the engineers that they provided were pretty high quality, and they did great work. Overall we are totally satisfied with the engagement.

Web Recruiters provided additional capacity to help is rewrite an application. We ported it from older technologies that were written about a decade ago and migrated it to the web. We have them general information about our company, infrastructure and products.

What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?

They were able to ramp a team relatively quickly. As fast as advertised, which was because they had a lot of people available for work. They did a really good job vetting the people that they brought us. They got a team of qualified engineers relatively rapidly, without a lot of work on our path. Getting those qualified engineers quickly was probably the biggest stand out in terms of the service they provided.

What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?

I think it was an overall satisfyingly experience.

We have the functional, operational, fail-safe, and reliable Ronin IT Service validator node that handles some transactions. The validator node has a safe deployment and secure access with maximal isolation from the internet space as it could be. Web Recruiters deploys and supports multiple Ronin archive nodes to use it as an RPC service for our analytics
Web Recruiters deployed two validator nodes (the second served as the backup node) in the Google Kubernetes Engine and used the best safe deployment practices. Our Ronin validator does not directly address the P2P IT Service network. As between the validator and internet space, there are sentry nodes that function as the reverse proxying for the P2P IT Service. And, of course, the Web Recruiters team developed backups and recovery schemes for such a system. The whole project was implemented in the context of IaC and the deployment process as a code.
