Zeurons AI was tasked with building a fully unattended automation solution to perform insurance eligibility verification for our patient appointments. The automation was built using UiPath and tightly integrated with our Intergy EMR system and payer portals such as Availity and United Healthcare.
Key deliverables included:
• A scheduled unattended bot that pulls appointment data from Intergy daily and pushes it into Orchestrator Queues.
• Web automation across multiple payer portals to fetch eligibility data, interpret coverage status, co-pays, deductibles, and limitations.
• PDF/screenshot extraction and auto-attachment to corresponding patient records in the EMR.
• Excel-based logs and summaries to track processed, failed, and ineligible entries.
• A robust exception-handling framework for portal downtime, credential issues, or incomplete patient data.
• UiPath Orchestrator setup for scheduling, bot scaling, monitoring, and logging.
