Sharing links in Google Drive are great for group work. When I drop a folder link in chat, my team can access it right away, without having to go through emails. We edit together in Docs and see the changes as they happen in real time, which is great. The app is nice, and I can check my files while I'm out and about. Plus, the folder with stars puts my important files right at the top.

What do you like the least about Google Drive?

It's easy to get confused about sharing permissions. I once gave edit access when I meant view-only. The search works well, but it takes a long time when there are a lot of files.

Best Cloud storage - with google products

I have been using it for the last 5 years, and I am satisfied with its support and performance. I get 15 GB of free storage with my Google account. I can easily upload documents and share them with teammates. Real-time synchronization has saved me time; I can easily use several devices from anywhere and keep them updated.

Reason to choose google drive.

Google drive is a very important tool to store data on the cloud and share data with others. It has a storage system and allows everyone to access it from anywhere with a help of the internet. It is easier to set up and users can get access to different services like Gmail, photos, YouTubes. Google doc has an online feature and saves any document automatically and can easily be shared with others. Important documents or any updates on companies' policies can easily be shared with team members by google doc. The editor can set the privacy of who can edit the documents or not. Moreover, google sheets also an important feature that gives us access to track down all the team members' attendance. To record and analyzes situation like if couriers or customers having an issue using the app or other concerns, we can gather the data and send it to the appropriate team to look into it.

Affordable "Gold Standard"

There are plenty of places out there that offer online backups and file sharing. But Google Drive is by far the best solution I've used. First, your ability to share files is much more robust than DropBox and unlike Dropbox, it won't require the user to upgrade if you've chosen a bad sharing option. I've had clients use Dropbox, but it forced me to upgrade simply to gain access, where I have never had that happen with Google drive. Also, it offers a very convenient way to mount your drive so you can use it simply as a local drive. This is great as we put all of our client files on a drive, so they are shared across the service and sales organizations.

User-Friendly and Highly Accurate!

We at Dragonfly just use Google Drive for our transcriptions. We open a new document in the Drive, hit CTRL + Shift + S and start recording. You can also run a video at the same time and have it automatically transcribe that. It’s not perfect, and you need to make revisions following the transcription, but that goes for any transcription service. It’s totally free, which is a big plus, especially for a company such as ours that doesn’t do a lot of transcription.

Reliable cloud storage on Google Workspaces

We've been using Google Drive for a few years for our daily backups and file sharing. It makes everything much easier to documents and share files between colleagues. I had a few issues regarding the available space, since it gives each user a certain amount, where I thought that the whole organization could share the same disk space, so I thought it was somewhat confusing at first. COVID-19 has struck businesses in our region quite hard. Fortunately, we have been able to overcome this through our experience in remote work. InvoZone uses this software to keep productivity high, manage employees and collaborate with teams. This must be Google's best creation as of now. Google Drive is one of the best tools to store, create and share documents with team members. It offers features like edit history, viewing history, and aligns perfectly with Microsoft Office Suite as well. Google Docs, Sheets, Slides and Forms are some of the useful tools that we have used extensively in the past 3 months of lockdown due to the coronavirus. Moreover, new users are provided with 15 GB of free space. This is so much more than its competitors like Dropbox and OneDrive.
