Review Summary

We My Tutor Source use Skype. Indeed, online conferencing has made things way easier than in the past. It has been around six years since I started as an online teacher. During this journey, I tried numerous conferencing platforms. And some were amazing but expensive. Only a few conferencing platforms are good enough for daily meetings. My favorite one is Skype. You might have heard about it; if not, let me tell you, it's AWESOME! I can conduct face-to-face meetings with my CEO and manager for as long as possible. I can even save my contacts there. It's easy to use and free. The only drawback is that Skype doesn’t support translations. Sometimes when chatting with non-native English clients, I struggle to explain my point to them.

Review Summary

Skype for business is an excellent application for those large companies that have offices in different states of the country, even in different countries, since it helps you avoid generating expenses for the company such as travel and lodging and in this time of pandemic it helps you perfectly to avoid contact with other people, since from home or from wherever they are they can hold their work meetings and be always up to date without having to all be in one place. You can record the meetings to be able to consult some detail later that you need, the best thing is that up to 250 people can meet in a single video call, all this with just sharing a link through the mail and clicking, in turn we can use Office Applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, which makes the work much easier, the image quality is magnificent as is the sound, everyone can use a whiteboard where they can annotate, edit and erase as if they were in a face-to-face meeting room.

Review Summary

We are using teams for a team of 750-950 people and have found it very beneficial as it manages teams very nicely. As we have team sessions as well, we generally are on conf or individual meetings or calls. The call quality has been great as compared to Skype for Business (Formerly Lync). I like the feature of the voice mail being emailed as well and a complete text narration added of the voice message as well. Overall, this product is a great piece of work. I would recommend the product to any team as it has a lot of features and ease on managing teams plus updating details. The personal chats can be ignored and team chats can be made so all the team is updated with one update and to and fro communication is made limited. We recently used the Channel Broadcast feature in MS Teams for an Online event and it was managed greatly. An Audience of 1000+ people got engaged and we were able to conclude the event with finesse. Overall the software is designed well and is being managed now. There are a bit of issues but it that the software would mature and then get to a stage where there would be no issues and all the processes would streamlined. I would like to use the same tool in my own company

Review Summary

We are a completely remote company (Prime Plus Mortgages) and we use Skype for business.

Pro - easy to use and to connect with new people, perfect for quick messages- can glitch and not be very reliable especially for videos.

We are a completely remote company so having the right tools and software is essential to getting the most out of our employees and to be productive. We have tested many different remote software and know that for fast communication or quick calls skype is perfect for quick messaging, while other tools like Trello make it easy to see what the status is of everyone's project without Mirco-managing!

Review Summary

I am Jeremy Harrison and run a blog called Hustle Life, which is a resource I created for people looking to find their perfect side hustle. I started the blog because, over the past five years, I have experimented with many different businesses with various degrees of success, and I wanted to help others find the right second job for them.

For video conferencing, I use Skype because it can be used for business conferencing for up to 250 people. It is compatible with MS Office and can be integrated with many business apps. Aside from this, it's incredibly flexible in terms of pricing. It is considered to be the most inexpensive provider of VoIP services. It also has a lot of different communications channels that boost productivity, encourages collaboration, and invites ideas and innovations. I love Skype because of its affordable price. Who would want more for a bargain price like this!

Review Summary

At Internet Advisor, we are using Skype. Its advantage is its familiarity and user-friendly interface. We all know how to use it, it’s intuitive, it’s loud, it’s reliable, and it allows you to write and send files, and everything else we need to do, so I see no reason to switch. The only thing that irritates me is that it needs to be updated very often and it’s not always properly coordinated between computer and phone, if you’re using both.

Review Summary

John here from Elinz, an online electronics store based in AU. Even before the pandemic, we've been using Skype as our main communication tool across our teammates, and we've been effective in keeping operational and productive.

Pros: Skype is very responsive and has a host of features. Should we need to contact other organizations, we're able to do so with just a few credits.

Cons: For older machines, Skype can be a little harder to run. It needs a bit of RAM to work properly. Modern machines shouldn't have any issues running it.
