We at CocoFax are using Time Doctor for a while now and let me point out to some pros and cons for the same.
Pros - Absence Management, Calendar Management, Employee Scheduling, Employee Time Clock, Overtime Tracking, Self Service Portal, Timesheets, Vacation / Leave Tracking.
Cons – Expensive software grips may annoy an employee, and the clocking is redundant, so irritating.

Review Summary
Time Doctor assists in tracking the employee time, letting my company and the whole team operate each day effectively. This software is well-known to be a cross among project management software, tracking time, and employee analyzing software. It lets us stay productive and track all the activities. This time tracking software has been used by us daily, and it costs $9.99/user per month. Calendar management, timesheets, absence management, and employee time clock are the best features. As far as its cons are considered, this has an outdated user interface, Linux and macOS apps have countless issues.

Review Summary
At Running Remote, we use TimeDoctor. Its one of my favorite remote work apps.
I work from home and it's very easy to get distracted or sometimes fall “down the rabbit hole”. Time Doctor helps keep me focused and stay mindful of how much time I spend on specific tasks. The app allows me to create a to-do list of all the tasks I'd like to work on for the day and accurately records my time and keeps me accountable at the same time. It also has this really cool feature that gives me a nudge when it detects that I might be distracted from work.
For my team, Time Doctor helps us automate timesheets, productivity reports, activity summary, time spent on various projects and tasks, and much more. The app doesn’t track anything on a user’s computer when they’re on a break or not working. That way, my team is rest assured knowing that activities conducted during their own time are not tracked.

Provides accurate reporting
Review Summary
Remote employees always present a challenge. Being a Head of Copy at SearchItLocal, with Time Doctor managers can ensure productivity doesn't suffer as well as provide accurate reporting when paying freelancers and contractors per time spent on projects.
More than a way to look from the top down, Time Doctor encourages employees to take accountability and provides a way to self-correct if time isn't being used efficiently.
With a simple and intuitive interface, Time Doctor doesn't get in the way of work and excels when employees need monitoring.
