Engaged MindInventory for website development! Spent over $9,000 USD and site was never delivered. No money was ever refunded either or anything handed over! We literally DID NOT GET ANYTHING FROM THEM ( ZERO ). They must use very cheap labor in India as they do not understand requirements. They try make us sign off on work that is nothing like wire frames we provided. 3 Project managers changed during the project which made us understand that this company is incompetent of delivering a final finished product which made us drop the project with them and seek other wordpress programmer who finished the website within 2 weeks. We were completely robbed by MindInventory be aware!! DO NOT PAY A SINGLE DOLLAR UPFRONT UNTIL THE PROJECT IS FINISHED ! Do not make the same mistake as us and loose so much money which you will never get back ! Will be seeking recovery of funds via legal help.

Max/ Sergio,

Thanks for misusing an open review platform systems, and submitting fake feedbacks. I can not get this review removed due to policies of open review platform, but can surely share the facts to other genuine users who wants a work, and pay after checking the work (which you did also).

@All,

Yes, he is our client and he never paid us last milestone/ remaining balance. He never paid us 10K USD and we can send the accounts statements and other proofs in person whenever you want. This was a project with a milestone basis payment system, and I can show the remittance receipt of each payment he sent. Each payment was sent after they completely test the work and once they were satisfied. If they were unhappy, why they would send any payment after the initial sign off payment? There were total 2 payments sent after initial payment done, which were after completion of work or new work.

All the work was completed and we were asking for final bug list to complete the work, so that we can deploy the system and put it live. In return, they asked for last invoice refund which was paid against the completion of work so we of course denied. He did threatened us for a negative review but we are ok with that as our other original and real user reviews makes more sense.

Such negative review marketing does not make impact. We never wanted to put a reply even, but some of our genuine still trust this so it is our duty to put our point and share the facts. Also, all the visitors can see genuine posted reviews which shares how we work and deliver.

Thanks,
Mindinventory.

Sound and fair delivery

Working with Mindinventory was solid and cooperation with their team was at proper level. Queries were well and fast addressed and most of the time we had good communication. Deliverables were as we agreed although some time beyond the deadline but still within the reasonable time frame. I can asses working with the company as an example of good cooperation with sound and quality output.

What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?

I was mostly attracted by the price and their professional approach and attitude.

What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?

Stick more with the deadlines and double check deliverables before submitting them to the client in order to avoid correcting same mistakes twice.

We have been engaged with Mindinventory for over two years. In that time they developed our app on two platforms and a full reporting and administrative panel. They have been timely and understanding of our needs.

What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?

Good communication and responsive to our needs.

What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?

They have been in a continuous state of improvement. The processes they used when we started have all been improved. This company does not rest on old systems.

Executive Interview
Mehul Rajput
Mehul Rajput
CEO, MindInventory
Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the company?
Mindinventory is a preeminent and top-notch Mobile Application, Web and Software Development Company based in Ahmedabad, India with a global presence in USA, Scotland, Australia and Chile. We are a renowned outsourcing firm with a strong and adept in-house team of 110 engineers.

Utilizing the rich accumulated experience of more than 7 years, we have devotedly worked for various startups, engineering teams of fortune 500 companies helping to reduce their engineering and maintenance budgets for product development around Mobility, Analytics, and web-based application development from inception to actual implementation.

I am a co-founder and CEO of this company and my role involves heading the operations related to business and delivery with strategic planning and defining road-map for the future.
What was the idea behind starting this organization?
Initially, I commenced my journey as a business entrepreneur leading various business operations. However, since I belong to an IT background, the technology bug kept biting me to transform my vision into veracity. The venture that began with merely 3 individuals has currently 110+ experts on the board.
What are your company’s business model–in-house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We have an in-house team of 110 brilliant minds, who are taking care of the project development and timely delivery. We believe in maintaining transparency regarding our business approach with a sheer customer satisfaction in mind.
How is your business model beneficial from a value-added perspective to the clients compared to other companies' models?
Optimum client satisfaction always remains on the top of our priority list and indeed, this is one of the biggest driving forces that boost motivation. Our ultimate aim is “Providing technology solutions with ethics and commitment”.

We entrust our clients with an all-round support and comprehensive strategic solutions instead of just helping them to cater their requisites.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?
We do offer best-in-class solutions to a wide spectrum of industries including Healthcare and Fitness, Fintech, Social Media, E-commerce, Real-Estate and Logistics, Food and Retail Mobility, Telecommunications and IoT. In addition, we help in implementing and customization of internal ERP/ CRM systems for enterprise customers.

Yes, 45% of our clients come back to us as they are more than satisfied with our professional services and affordable pricing model at the first attempt.
Mention the objectives or the parameters critical in determining the time frame of developing a mobile app.
It is next to impossible to give an exact estimation or time frame to build any system without knowing the objective of developing the app/ web app/project. However, we have defined a process to identify the correct business model along with analyzing the requirement. We drill down the project requirement to micro level to find the correct estimation of man-hours, which helps us to identify the proper price, team size as well as delivery time-frame.
How much effort in terms of time goes into developing the front end and back end of a mobile app?
As per my opinion goes, this seems to be a very vague statement, as each front-end or back-end and even the app designing efforts are based on the following parameters; Project features, Designing required, Technology stack required, The complexity of the concept, Third party integration and Request changes
What are the key parameters to be considered before selecting the right platform for a mobile application?
When any client approaches our development team with this question, we always ask them to first identify who their target audience is and which are the specific geographical locations where they are planning to hit the market. For instance, if they are planning to release their app in USA or Canada, we suggest them to go with the iOS app because of the increased user base. For the Asian audience, an Android app is more worthy.
Which platform do you suggest to your clients, to begin with when they approach you with an idea (Android or iOS) and why?
For us, we discuss with the client the following mentioned parameters to achieve the highest output, i.e. iOS/ Android or both, we should consider the following parameters:

● Targeted geography
● The specific age group of potential customers
● The industry they want to cater
● User preferences or app features
Android or iOS, Native or Hybrid — which platform is best to use to build your app? What are your recommendations?
The mobile application can reap the benefits of both native as well as a hybrid platform. So, definitely, it depends largely on the requirements of the client. Primarily, we have to consider the budget estimate of the client and time-frame for completing the project. For your information, the native app development is costlier than hybrid apps. However, the customer is free to choose the right combination of Native Android or Native iOS and even the hybrid app. We choose the accurate platform only after minutely analyzing the needs of the organization and conducting an in-depth research in this area.
What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of a mobile application?
While determining the cost for a fix cost project; we make sure that we are clear with the project scope, deliverables, and efforts required deploying the seamless solution. Based on that, and the defined technology stack; adds the final variation to the cost.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
We have different convenient pricing models for all our clients to choose from. If they are opting for the fixed cost project, we define the milestones and get it mutually agreed to pay. Each project starts with a certain amount of upfront payment, followed by next milestones which are paid only when a piece of work is approved by the customer.

In the case of hourly or the dedicated business model, the payment terms are mutually agreed upon to be paid.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
Yes, we have some protocols while defining the budget. We set very high parameters in terms of development quality and customer services. The cost is defined based on the efforts required to complete the system. If efforts are less, pricing is automatically less and if the scope is big, the prices get on a higher side based on efforts required for the particular project.

What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2018?
We do work on different ticket size projects where the price range varies from $1,000 USD to $100,000 USD. Like I mentioned before, the project cost is based on the efforts required to successfully complete the project.
Which business model do you suggest to your clients enabling them to generate revenue from mobile applications? Why?
We recommend our customer to target the potential audience and hit the right geographical locations. The best working model would be a Freemium model where a normal user can access the core features of the system where he sees the value. However, to gain certain extra features/ functions, they will need to pay for it. This works great if the concept is great and if the core features attract a user to buy the complete system.
Kindly share your feedback on how GoodFirms has been doing so far in increasing your visibility among potential clients.
GoodFirms is definitely gaining a popularity and people are trusting their reviews which is eventually helping our visibility among potential customers.
