It’s one of the most mature tools, with a full suite of features that help marketers manage email campaigns and provide excellent tools for sales teams. Marketo is great for companies that are going to make use of the tool’s many features that go beyond basic marketing automation.

Marketo is ideal for businesses that intend to employ the tool's many capabilities beyond simple marketing automation. It is not the most costly tool, but it is also not the cheapest. If you're not planning to use the system's sophisticated features, you can accomplish equivalent results using a less expensive tool. It's one of the most mature programs, with a comprehensive feature set that not only assists marketers in managing email campaigns but also provides superb capabilities for sales teams. Marketo also offers a marketplace called LaunchPoint that has hundreds of connectors.

We Model Chic use Marketo. My research has led me to conclude that Marketo is the most effective marketing automation software. By far, Marketo is the most well-known marketing automation platform. There are dozens of add-ons available on Marketo's marketplace, called LaunchPoint. Marketo is fantastic for organizations that use the software's many features beyond those required for simple marketing automation. Neither the most nor least priced instrument available. You can achieve the same effects using one of the cheaper tools if you don't plan on using something other than the system's sophisticated capability. To avoid swapping over all your data and campaigns later, begin with a product like Marketo if you plan on expanding into more extensive functionality soon. In addition, we appreciate Marketo's lively and extensive knowledge base, which serves as a wonderful introduction to the platform for new users.

We use Marketo in our Marketing department and use it for lead nurturing, lead scoring, internal communications and marketing + sales alignment. Marketo has pretty steep learning curve and you can do same thing in different ways so you need to know the best practices to keep the instance "clean". Connector to Microsoft Dynamics should be updated, that's definitely the weakest point.

Marketo is fantastic tool to use in order to easily watch how consumers move through your funnel. This also provides insights to leakages so that you can make corrective steps to get more from awareness to purchase. It's automation is a time saver and easy to set up. The only downfall is that it is you have to add your own CRM that plays well since they don't offer one. It has a high price tag, but it delivers on performance for that price.

Marketo as a platform has immensely helped our marketing teams. The automation capabilities, power of tokens, robust API, Segmentations and, integration capabilities are a huge plus. They are enhancing the backend platform to optimize the speed and performance overall which is necessary for instances that deal with million of records. I would love to see integration between Marketo AND Adobe DAM, Test and Target and, Adobe analytics for end to end tracking.

I currently use Marketo to help identify better leads. As a sales person, its imperative to be able to sort you leads by quality- Marketo allows me to do that by assigning scores to leads. I'm able to reach out to more leads through email automation and it integrates with Salesforce and other tools I use.
