JIRA is the best and most widely used Project Lifecycle management tool

Jira is an awesome tool to manager projects and collaborate with team to get things done from end to end right from requirement grooming, development, logging/tracking bugs, creating epics and collaborating with team at large. It allows to create dashboard with multiple filters to have a one stop view of the progress of tickets. It allows for visualizations of tickets and the status they are in, track the releases. Overall a great tool for project management.

Released in 2002, Jira is a project management tool by Atlassian headquartered in Sydney. It is used to organize and manage the various tasks related to a specific project. Jira offers project planning, tracking, scheduling, and reporting capable features. When you choose to use these tools for managing your projects, they offer several advantages over a standard business process management system. A major feature of Jira is that it allows you to manage both small and large projects, unlike Asana or Trello that ideally work best for only small projects only. However, there are various other striking features such as:Jira is foremost used for bug tracking in the process of software or app development. It can find, track and record bugs. There is a definite surge in the demand for bug tracking software. It is estimated that by 2026 industry will grow to $600 million.Jira gives the ability to use multiple forms of collaboration such as email, chat, and teleconferencing. Jira allows project managers to easily communicate with other project managers and users in an effective manner. It also lets you share documents such as projects, specifications and proposals. Creating task boards and assigning roles or projects to various users is possible with Jira. Along with that, Kanban boards help members in visualizing the workflow, assigning priorities and tracking progress.Another striking feature is Scrum boards that enable agile to fasten up iterations.Project managers can make changes in their projects anytime. Project managers can work with their teams by email, instant messaging or teleconference. They can also collaborate with them using Jira's product availability report. This feature provides project managers with accurate information about the current status of their project.Another advantage of Jira is its user-friendly interface, which makes it easy for any member to view the project. It has the ability to organize tasks and reports. It works with any type of users: manager, engineers and even non-tech personnel. It even allows you to track the completion time, status, and cost for each task. By managing projects in this way, you can reduce the risk of getting stuck and wasting time while making better decisions about your projects.Final words:Jira offers a multitude of plugins to extend its capabilities and streamline tracking of bugs, issues and tasks.
