“SEMrush is built for a single team handling one large enterprise campaign.”
My name is William Chin and I am an SEO consultant for Pickfu.com. I have been doing SEO for roughly 6 years and I have worked on a varying sized campaign, from optimizing corner stores and Google my businesses, to enterprise campaigns spanning multiple countries. During those campaigns, I have worked with at least a dozen different mainstream SEO software. I currently use SEMrush in my day-to-day activities. Here's how I would break them down on different factors:
1)Scalability(2/5): SEMrush really handicaps you due to it allowing only one user to log in at any given time (and they will lock your account if they notice multiple IPs logging on simultaneously).
2) Pricing(3/5): The pricing tier of SEMrush is monthly as $99 / $199.95 / $399.99 / Custom and it allows 16% annual discount.
3) Technical Stack(5/5): SEMrush has a strong auditing features, VERY detailed PPC data (for those SEM managers) and allows access to a highly supported and updated API. I currently used SEMrush's API due to its ability to pull any type of data from it. It's also interesting that this comes included in their packages. Therefore, if your blending data like I do on a daily basis, and you need to make multiple API calls a day pulling thousands of rows, I would use SEMrush for that keyword data.
