Please introduce your product and give a brief about your role within the organization.
Flowlu is an online business management platform that takes care of your clients, projects, CRM, team collaboration, and more. It was founded in 2015 by two Russian entrepreneurs. Nowadays, Flowlu helps teams around the globe manage their entire company in one unified place. My role as a CEO is to manage Flowlu's vital operations, including product development, structure, strategy, long-term goals, risks, and profitability.
What was the objective behind coming up with this software?
Like most entrepreneurs, my co-founder and I found it extremely painful to discover a project management software that will meet all our business requirements in one single spot and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Sadly, all we stumbled upon was too basic or cluttered for our demands. So we decided to build our own project management tool from scratch, and that is how Flowlu was born. However, as Flowlu grew it became apparent that a project tracking tool is ineffective without proper finance and customer management, invoicing, and team communication. Soon, from a PM platform, Flowlu turned into an all-in-one collaborative tool that can address the needs of most small and medium-sized teams.
How is your software beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other software alternatives available in the market?
Flowlu differs from other alternatives in the way that it is built as an all-in-one tool to help SMBs save time and money and replace multiple subscriptions with just one. Instead of jumping between pages, they can manage all their data in one unified place — Flowlu. Plus, we’re very flexible and responsive. I, as a CEO, sometimes assist our users in our support chat or Facebook Community. This helps me better understand our customers, their day-to-day needs, and issues. These precious insights allow me to adjust the UX and UI based on our clients' real-life requirements.
What industries do you generally cater to? Which industries in general are highly benefiting by using your software?

The highly benefiting industries include marketing agencies and sales departments that use Flowlu for collaborative work and client communication management. Consulting and legal firms utilize Flowlu for project planning, customer relationship management, time tracking, and invoicing. Also, construction companies use Flowlu for project management, budgeting & profitability tracking.
What are the key features of your software that makes it stand apart from your competitor products in the market?
Flowlu provides you with a real-time, 360-degree overview of how your company is doing on a daily basis. Our clients are empowered with solid project management tools like budgeting, time tracking, invoicing, and more. Additionally, Flowlu offers multiple views for tasks including GTD to-do list, Kanban board, calendar, and Gantt chart. Our platform includes CRM and task automation to streamline the company's processes. You can create a personal digital assistant that will guide your team at each stage of the deal. It also incorporates a client portal to seamlessly collaborate with your external users and keep everyone in the loop. Another prominent feature is custom fields and lists to record important information specific to your business.
What is the customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
We’ve been measuring customer satisfaction using NPS tools and by analyzing reviews on the most popular software review platforms such as GoodFirms, and GetApp. Today, Flowlu’s average overall rating is 4.9/5.0 across review platforms which are achieved by hundreds of amazing reviews from our delighted customers. Our product team is developing and planning features based on our users’ feedback and taking SMBs needs in mind. We also have a roadmap and suggestion hub to make our product development more straightforward and transparent to our clients.
Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what is the percentage of repeat customers that you have?
Flowlu is a subscription-based software which means that many of our customers are repetitive clients. We're working hard towards making the percentage of recurring clients even higher.
Does your software product provide any resource or knowledge section for its users? If yes, what kind of material is provided to your users to help them get acquainted with your product?
We provide a knowledge base with step-by-step guides and how-to videos. We also held several webinars on getting started with our software. Plus, we’re gathering case studies and best practices from our users and transforming them into blog posts on our website. This year we also introduced our built-in onboarding module. It is similar to a comprehensive checklist to help users get acquainted with our platform.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
Flowlu offers online support via a chat widget inside users’ accounts as well as a dedicated email address. We also send automated onboarding emails and offer on-demand demos for our existing customers to help them implement the software and guide them in case of any questions.
Where do you see your product in the next 10 years?
The IT industry is highly unpredictable, and it is not easy to say what we expect from Flowlu 10 years from now. I see a lot of areas for product growth and improvement, so obviously, it will include far more powerful features and integrations with tools to give teams a more seamless experience. I hope that in 10 years it will also incorporate all the required functionality for the SMBs and give them more capabilities for customization. Probably, Flowlu will be combined with AI-powered tools and RPA to minimize any routine work and boost the team's efficiency. We continue on polishing and improving Flowlu making it the most helpful and effective assistant for entrepreneurs.
